Prawn and BigAls A3 Track Car

I'm driving up to Northampton tonight for a weekend with my girlfriends family, thankfully it happens to be 30 mins from R-tech so I've got a mate coming over to take me to fetch the car :)

I've also got some massive orange graphics to stick on the car when I get it back, because deep at heart, I'm a massive chav :lmfao:

Prawny Ill be around northampton from about 10:30 bell me up if you fancy showing off!

Also go A43 M40 A34 home, that way youll drive past Silverstone ;)

oooooooooooooooo, Sounds like a potential ASN unplanned meet!

Kev is nearby tomorrow morning, and I might be bringing a gearbox up for him, you're nearby, A3Ah will be there, and even Jase is close by so we should try and tempt him out!

What you doing up there dude?

Make it sunday and i`ll maybe pop up as tomorrow is full of coilover fitting...the joy! NOT.

Where abouts in Northampton are you guys going to be staying? Its only down the A428 from me so its like 20minutes drive.

Im seeing the girlf mate, let me know and ill try and get across.

spooning?:undwech:

Your replies are becoming increasingly comical of late Bill, I must say, it's most entertaining! haha.

Will give you a buzz about popping over some time, can't do it this weekend as I'm at Tori's for her brothers Birthday.

i put it down to fatigue and age :p

Muhahahahahahahahahaha.

Its mental. I have NO idea how I should be driving it, just Blown away by the pull, it just pulls and pulls and pulls!

Whats even more shocking though, is how crazy smooth it is! No wheel spin, no lairy torque spike, it just goes!

So mind bendingly happy with it, it's SERIOUSLY fast now.
Massive thanks to Niki and all the boys at Rtech, I couldn't have asked for more, Niki has delivered exactly what I wanted, and I'm very glad he insisted on keeping it until it was 100% right :)
More to Come later!

great news looking forward to hearing the full details later!

Excellent news mate, have enjoyed following your thread.

I bet it does feel awesome, I thought my old A3 AGU running 194bhp was pretty quick, your packing another 100bhp on top of that with less weight, very nice

Well done...

Managed to get a little vid earlier;

Honestly, it's just amazing. So happy with it!

Met up with Dane this morning, my friendly turbo supplier to show him what I had managed to create with all his old parts :)

Man is this thing quick, I'd need a nice long stretch of straight road to over take. I couldn't keep up in the corners for shizz, great way to spend a sunny Sunday morning!

Just driven this home 110 miles from Northampton, and I'm happy to say it's lost none of it's road manners at all, 110 miles home in perfect comfort, no silly fuel consumption, just wonderful :)

Also, it's still mind bendingly quick :p

And I enjoyed every bit of tuning it, and you capped it off with your huge grin after your test drive.

The high mileage miracle ride continues! Just can't believe how an engine with this many miles can be THIS good!

It did make me gulp on the dyno when steady state logging and looking down at the clocks seeing a rpm reading of 6800w with the dyno the load cell reading around 285whp and the ODM at 211,000 miles.... :hubbahubba:

What a machine, cheers for taking me out, hope you had fun driving it about over the weekend.

Mine runs superb love all the added power, feels like its meant to be rather than its 128bhp haha.

Hopefully ill see you again on tuesday.

Ps. Surely its time for the North loop ;)
