Personally I have always thought a silicone TIP is a better option. Will be interesred in seeing how it maps. Nice for an OEM look.

I was going to the silicone one in my mind first but this popped up on eBay and got it for half price brand new so couldn't say no lol, cars having a stage two remap at Rtech in a week after fitting my ko3s turbo so be good to see how much bhp I'm running as I haven't a clue now lol

is that for a ko3?

You know it wont fit your ko3s dont you?

why wont it fit mate? they looked the same and also seller who i bought it from told me it fits the ko3 and ko3s maybe i should go up to my turbo in the box and see if it fits ok?

Id Check amte, as the Ko3s has a different size inlet to the ko3.

Hence having different tips.

I have a Ko3 Tip in the garage adn a ko3s Tip from my old AGU.

Id check if i was you before fitting it to Ko3

It will be interesting to see how it works out because the Neuspeed one uses the original upper pipe which is quite soft and is ribbed. IMO this will get sucked in under boost and the velocity and airflow will be reduced by the standard upper pipe. This will be a good test to see how opening up the elbow improves things.

Although, the bottleneck on the standard metal pipe is so incredibly restrictive this will be a huge improvement no doubt. But will it be better than a full silicone tip...

What did you think of the restriction from the stock downpipe? Lol

Saying that..

My car still has the standard Tip on it, seems MTM jsut added a silicone hose to the Turbo.. - But it is next on my list to replace.

just ran upstairs in a panic and unwrapped the turbo and drum roll please it fitted perfectly on my ko3s turbo!! i can now stand down from brown alert lol

Thats good, I dont know how it would fit your Ko3 then, Im possitive they are diff sizes.

yeah i placed it on there and at first thought it didnt fit, but also have all the ko3s tip standard sitting around so put that on there and fitted fine but just forgot to push the neuspeed pipe down hard as its brand new and was a perfect fit and had a nice tight seal so was very relieved as u can imagine but thats for ur advice mate as if u never said anything i would never of bothered to check, was going to get silicone one but had seen some good and bad reviews of them, i did want one from badger5 but maybe in the future when i can fund a ko4 turbo but i think i will be very happy with the ko3s turbo as i dont do much mileage only 3k a year! and hardly use motorways and im a town driver ! but will soon post up bhp figures when car is finally custom remaped at Rtech!
