Help on considering buying new A3 TDI

This is my first post so go easy on me....(since many moons ago)

Firstly I have A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI 2004, just done 80k.....(it needs cambelt + service)

But I am thinking of trading it in for a new one...

What is if any the best discount I could expect to get off the total price, or are the finance deals they offer worth doing ?

Any advice or help would be great thks very much.

I think discount is a definite due to the new model being launched any time from march onwards. I managed about 10 or 11% off my A3 black Edition just under 2 years ago!

What spec are you after?

Discount is guaranteed right now - expect in the region of 10% on the total price. If they won't at least get close, get yourself onto an internet broker or another dealer.

If he wants a Sportback then the new model is 12 months away. My new Sportback should be here in a week or so having be made on 14 February and current waiting to be put on a ship at Emden, 17 weeks after I ordered it. Mind you I did get my usual 10% discount from my dealer.

Excuse delay in reply and thks for the posts ! I would be looking for an S-line but now likley to be a few months away, had a service and cambelt just carried out.....they gave me an A5 tdi white new and fully loaded for a loan car..! That was something but a load of money..
