Dynodaze next to rtech? Hhm that much torque your boost pressure must be pretty high? I'm on 221ftlbs on a bar.

need to work out why the mountain range effect??? seems as thought the car is cutting fuelling or somethin...

What mods are on there to make 191? Mine was 188 with a fueling issue (now cured)
 
I'd have said it was probably surging, The resolution of yours and Stephens print out is similar so in theory they should look similar

Had they logged ARF and boost alongside the other traces, fault finding would be much easier

191 is a realistic figure for a standard remap on an AEB/ APU. What other mods are on the car?
 
The dyno daze rolling road next door is a very smooth dyno, if there are glitches and occilations in the graph its down to boost or fuel (n75 or DV?)

21psi can work out to around 250lbft.

I was going to pop down but wife banned me and said i had to have a day off...lol

Yea i agree mark.

all the car has is:
Generic map, MBC alongside the N75, cone filter, decat and centre box delete atm... I was running a K03-075, but it died (or i killed it) :( so had to revert back to stock turbo, luckily i kept it.

think it needs a proper map... plus i have some other goodies from "rs4wannabe" later on this month when im paid.

About time you did, anyway need to watch the bidding on that pink Mini,lol

I'd say the MBC capping the boost is what you are seeing, given it's in parallel with the N75. I wouldn't be too worried, either get the turbo fixed and back on, or get Nick to smooth the spikes out

Not exactly, No.

Th diode and the Mbc were fitted when I was running the 075. Purely as a technical exercise to see if/how well it would work. And as I couldn't afford a full custom map.

It's remained on the car to see if the same was true on the standard k03.

So I wouldn't say "hashed up"

No running issues are evident other than the engine protecting from knocking...
 
I'd imagine your boost is all over the place, and the ECU is trying madly to control it hence the pulsing.

The ignition timing is being pulled because the ECU cant see whats happening, and is running the timing for a much lower boost level than its actaully seeing.

Its exactly "hashed up" if your increasing your boost by fooling the ECU.
 
The stock AEB timing advance maps are enough for stage 2 as long as the exhaust flow is good and the fuel is super unleaded / v-power. Cheap fuel and poor exhaust flow will give high CFs.

Lean conditions can cause high -CFS? Might be worth having a quick wideband log of the AFR to make sure all is safe. But saying that an AGU AEB will run happy all day long for years with CFs of 8-10 as long as there is a window for the ecu to run corrections your fine. I would worry with all 4 cylinders pulling the max OBD recorded -12CF with very little room for error reduction. The CF is not actaul knock or pinking its the added ecu knock reduction routine to tame knock sensor voltage. Pulling a -3cf and -9CF is just as safe/worse as each other, the ecu has control of the timing.




@ Mark, The pink mini thing went out the window.... we are now on to a bright pink £40,000 Range Rover.. :-( She will end up with a Pink stick of Blackpool rock if she dont shut up...lol

Its an ME7.1 APU engine, which hes been messing with using an MBC to up the boost and a Diode on the MAP sensor to hide the additional boost from the ECU so it doesnt go into limp.

Its probably cutting throttle due to the bodges, and its entirely likely its running lean.

Thats that the issues with the graph torque monitor intervention from the ecu from the ME7.1. Not an easy ecu to fool.
