Shocked at the price of shocks!

Just been quoted £480 for Bilstein B8 shocks, supply/fitted/aligned.
To me that sounds VERY cheap, as I would expect the shocks alone to cost that sort of money.

Am I missing something?? Bilstein B8's are pretty good shocks, no??? Not at all budget?

That does sound cheap, thought they were more than that just for the parts and half of that to be fitted. Maybe it's because they've been around a while so a new version/model is in the works?

Just been looking around and the shocks are priced at about £500 mark at a lot of places.

Its AMD Essex. I assume they'll offer the same price at any one of their branches up and down the country.
So far, as far as I've seen, they seem to be the cheapest by far for supply and fit offers. They are also doing supply/fit/align of AP coilovers for £570. That's a pretty good price too.
