Post pics of your B6 A4/S4

no way! nice. so if i were to have 19x9 on the rears and 19x8.5 on the front i shouldnt have any probs? even when i lower it little?

Depends what your offset is on the 9 J's + what tyres you use, i've got 235/35 on the rear which produce a nice bit of stretch & angle in away from the arch. You can make just about anything fit within reason, im going to try and get a set of 10 J's like the rears to fit on the front this year as i love concave and my rears have lots of it.

Sorry mate they were 9.5 on the rear but yes with 235 35
Not sure what offset tho! What WOULDN'T work? then I'll go from there.

Well my 10 Js are E.T 27 and give about 7/8 mm of poke but i like that as its a break from the acoss the board flush look. The wider the alloys the lower your choices with tyres, as the tyre wall would rub if you go to big with the tyres....

Rear tyres are going down to 235/35 for a touch of stretch and so I can lower it more

LOW! What are the side skirts you've got there? Not the blades the grey black textured section?

Oh, the all black and red thing works on your car IMO.

Thanks the side skirts are made by CSR...available from Rob at mad motors see link

I seen a few American a4's with them on but the company that made them in the us had gone bump luckily CSR had replicated them
CSR - Audi A4 B6 8E Sideskirts

And yes I am running 275-30-19 rear at the moment which doesn't catch as much as you would think it rubs slightly on the carpet lining if I go over a sleeping policeman fast but I'm talking 35 mph+ also mine is 2wd so the suspension set up is different to Quattro from memory youll struggle to get wider than 255-30 on the Quattro models

little update the wheels finally finished and on the car just need to sort the caps out, crappy iphone pics though sorry ill need to get my mates slr out when ive beat the car with the lowering stick! as the car is at standard height although it does look low in these pics (and they have not been photoshopped btw)

hard to say for sure from just the rear photo but for me that's a step too far and a short one from neons and a whale tail. I'm all for modifications and individuality but past a certain point all cars look chav. my personal opinion only as thoughts were invited. The side skirt trims aren't bad at all but I agree that Mad Motors would appear to be purveyors of quite an impressive range of tat.

Yeah I would say the same the yellow a4 looks good from the back and side view isn't to bad the front looks like theve just chose any bumper, from what I've read the arches front and rear are from a b7 rs4
I would've like to have seen a b6 rs4.

As for mad motors he sells what he sells I'd only buy that CSR side skirt myself but each to there own eh

Partially cleaned up, clayed front end, machine polished front end and roof (need to get around the whole car), wet vacuumed interior and carpets etc, plenty left to do before it's up to scratch.

Got a set of genuine RS6 to go on (older s-line type in 18), cobra parking sensors going on next week and towbar coming off then too, after that Parrot 3100 going in and 4NT plate to go on, oh and 5 perches I think... Anyhow, a bit basic but a nice car none the less

unitzero, looks nice clean avant! are they what i think they are in the boot? lol

Lol! Cheers mate! Need your plastics colour coding! Would make a huge difference!

I have an Sline front lower in for prep as we speak. keeping an eye out for blades and Sline rear but may just paint the rear but leave the centre section (kind of like the S4 bumper)

I'm probably alone here, but I actually prefer the black plastic! Would be great if they made a lower front sport/sline valance in black plastic!

Hi, I'm quite new to here and I thought I would show you my ride aswell; (i've been to take pictures today and the car was washed yesterday however it got dirty of my travelling... ;/ )

car photography 101, try not to take pics of the car with the sun behind it.

no offence, just a bit shady - looks good though. are those wheels colour matched to the car ?

haha I know my camera skills are bad !! the wheels are in bmw grey, which is very similar but a little bit darker

****** just wrote a massive reply for it to get deleted!! stupid eee pad!! if ny one wants some tips on how to get that factory black plastic look, let me know, its fairly straight forward but i work in a body shop so have done many a moulding in my time!! lol

So i fitted some DRL lights today, they took a bit longer than expected but wanted to do them right. They work with the side lights as that was a lot easyer than having them come on with ignition. There not blue although they look so in the pics there the same colour as my side lights and my HIDs. For the price im quite happy....What do you think????????

You'll have to show a daylight pic when you get chance. I'm still unsure on DRL's but it's a taste thing....

Quick update on my B6, had it a couple of weeks now, done some vinyl work inside, fitted gen 18" RS6's, bit of paint splashed on the callipers, private plate on, park assist on and awful towbar now gone (after the pics were taken). More to come hopefully.

Please excuse awful pic quality, iPhone 3G, gad damn I need a new phone.....

Hot tubs, waste of money? Yep. Comes in handy hiding the wheels you said you wouldn't buy? yep!

Cheers, just need to upload them, it's only the gear surround and ash tray lid, totally hammered so had no option but to wrap. Will get them on soon.

Cheers.
