Hello everyone

Looking at buying some wheels...........Just want to know what offset id need for my wheels to be flush with the arches?
Dont really like using spacers. At the moment my RS4 replicas (came with the car) sit really far in on the back.....they arent so bad on the front though.

Cheers

depends on the widths of the wheel your looking at

for an 8.5" wheel ET20-25 sits good on the front but still a little too far in at the rear for me. ET 15 for the rear would be good i think

MrTackalakalaka,

If you get new wheels id b intersted in your old RS4 reps???

Nice to see a fellow cornishman on here!!

not many of us on here i don't think. I see a few S3s around Falmouth though.

What colour is your car?

There are some more of us from Cornwall on here Wadebridge.

You will find that wide wheels with exotic offsets will cost a lot more money then the run of the mill wheel which is why most people use spacers. You might also want to consider tyre prices for a wide wheel too.

yeah red with BBS wheels. There is a smart looking yellow one i see around work sometimes

Ah yes thanks!! Think i might stick to 18” x 8.5” 5x100 et 44 and put spacers on.

I can't see the picture? Are you going to have yours resprayed then?

ah yes there is a red s3 on here with those wheels and very similar stance, looks awesome. Be good to see how yours comes along. Are planning big things for this car?

Not too sure yet. Just wanted some new wheels and lower it a bit..........but i tend to get carried away! There are too many nice looking engine bays on here.......not good for my bank! haha
Have you done much to yours?

na, mines pretty boring tbh. I fully revamped the suspension which i cannot emphasize enough how much of an improvement that is but other than that it is standard. I don't even have a Forge DV. I need to pull my socks up. I am getting my long awaited Brembos strapped on next week though :)

Very nice!! What suspension do you run?

Mine has been remapped and chipped but i had no history with the car so i dont know what its running at, will go to St Agnes and take it on the rolling road.

Bilstein B8 shocks with H&R lowering springs (25mm), Neuspeed ARBs (22mm front, 19mm rear) and Dave's adjustable rear tie arms. Also got new (standard) ball joints, drop links top mounts and bushes all round.
