New Wheels On The Family Bus

Fitted these today. Im pretty happy with how they look tbh. Im tempted to go with coilovers but as its a daily I dont really want to totally ruin the ride and its £650 fitted for the ones I want!

Really not a fan of those wheels I'm afraid. Never have been.
I think that 19's do work on sport suspension though.

You'd b surprized my rear 19's look like there well drop on coilovers, so much so that i had to have thinner adapters made so they didn't catch on the arches, the fronts do look higher than the rear thats what my B5 spring perches are for when i get around to getting them fitted....

The B5 spring perches are 15mm lower than the B6 ones so you get the extra drop without changing the springs. I got mine new from TPS think they were £37 for the pair.

The only down side is that you've to take all the front strut off to fit them, which is a ball ache and to be fair with all that off its just as easy to do the springs to, which is why i've not done mine yet....

Have to admit the BLQ's aren't my favourite wheel BUT on the B6 avant sports they really work well, came very close to fitting a set to mine but a set of Audi A5 9x19 ET33 Speedlines popped up at a price that was silly not to take advantage of!

Yeah, that's right. Under £500 with nearly new tyres (albeit budgets).

Not new but in excellent condition. They were for sale on edition 38. I didn't think it was too bad considering the tyres alone are probably worth £200 plus.
