I was supposed to pick up my first S3 today but the sale fell through.

I have now seen this Orange example which seems a good price:

Audi S3 2.0T FSI 2007MY quattro | eBay

Does anyone know of the car? I love Orange but not sure how practical it will be long term.

Thanks

I thought Orange was desirable but I suppose it's all up to personal preference.

when i was shopping around i wish i had seen an orange audi. i love cars that stand out because of their colour!but this is coming form a guy who drove a Gold Astra Coupe lol

They look amazing, but there aren't many people with the big kahunas to drive a car with a statement colour that bold so there are less buyers out there at resale. Fully detailed they look awesome.

Haha, you sound like a guy after my own heart, Charlie! I currently have a yellow S3, but one of the great loves of my life was my Titan Gold MK4 Astra Coupe 2.2 Bertone! I've currently also got a Tambora Flame (orangey gold) Freelander 2 at the moment. Like yourself I LOVE bright colours that stand out. xx

To the OP, I think you should go for Solar Orange if you like it! I wouldn't worry too much about residuals on it as there will always be someone like us 'bright colour lovers' out there looking to buy. I spent ages looking for a Yellow S3 8P3 and could only find 1 UK wide that came up for sale at the time. xx

That salso on autotrader

For me sportback in that colour is amazing - just like Juicy Jen's new purchase :D

I'm almost convinced to go for it. I love it in that colour and it has the right spec.

There is a better spec one on auto-trader with buckets and the lot,i would love it myself but not planning on getting one for a couple of months :(

That ebay ad looks like a con. Seems too cheap, the seller has no reputation and the photos are small (the first ebay ad by the thread starter).

Sorry, just saying what I see. I'm new, so hello

I viewed the car today at a dealer in Bolton. I rove all the way from Edinburgh. Not the car for me as it was a finance repo so no service book and only 1 key. Audi have confirmed it has a Fsh. Car was immaculate inside & out but just not the right one for me.

Just h&r springs. Sits nice right!?

If you look at everything it's had done and comes with, you're just investing now rather than in the future!'
