A few of the guys have 8P2 style ones and they look good. Think that grille looks a lot better than the 8P3 A3 optic grille

By any chance do you know if the grill has cut outs for the air intake ?

It does have the cut outs for the intake, Dude. It's only the OEM RS3 grille that doesn't have them as it has its intake where our fog lights are. I think it looks really smart and pretty OEM, ..totally agree with Ash that it looks better than the A3/S3 optics grille. xx

Ah right I know it's nice I've got it on mine haha, I'm just stuck in work so cant check and I'm having bother with low mpg with my car and I was wondering wether it actually hat the air hole cut out or not.

It will fit there is no difference in size on any of the A3 8P2 grilles.
