Is there anyone got anything positive to say about the A3 2.0tdi Quattro ?

Just wondering as there seems to be a lot of problems with peoples motors yet I've been led to believe these are the most reliable car ever ????

Come on & tell me how good your car is & post a pic, I pick mine up this week & you's have got me flapp'n..............

Just think, how often have you posted on a forum to say your car is fine and there's nothing wrong with it? Forums are full of people posting problems to resolve them!

Against a lot else of what's out there they are great.

or all the problems you read of, when you last saw a breakdown lorry was it picking up:

a) a Peugeot
b) a Rover
c) an Audi S3

!!!

I'll say no more. They have niggling faults, but on the whole they're very good. most of us just have OCD as we've spunked £30k+

Lol, as has already been said by the guys Baza, not a lot of peeps post on forums to say how wonderful and reliable their cars are. They post up on here and other forums to look for advice as to how to rectify the problems they are having with their motors. Go get your car, look after it and most of all enjoy it, Dude! xx

I know i have only had mine for a year but it has been faultless [touches wood]

Not the most exciting car i have ever owned but a very nice place to be and i'm lucky to have it. Especially when the weather is a bit adverse.

IMHO if you wanted a more reliable car,you should've bought a Honda! Sold my 54 plate Type R which I had since 2006 a year ago. Not a single problem! 1 year in a 2007, and I've had it go into limp mode once, and have a bad judder, which no one will commit to a diagnosis on. could be DMF, could be Turbo, could be tandem pump! Minimum 500 quid to fix, if its the Tandem Pump!

If only Honda's looked as nice as the Audi's inside and out, I would still be driving one!

I have an Audi A3 2.0 TDI and I LOVE it. Its a cracking car, I get 55+mpg daily, and the build quality is amazing.

My previous car was a Focus ST-2, standard but I did have it remapped to 275bhp, it shifted well and sounded lovely, but it never felt as comfortable and all round 'nice' as my Audi does.

You may read about the A3 TDI porous head problems, but dont let it scare you off. Focus ST's suffer cracked cylinder liners, all cars have their weaknesses and faults, you just have to hope you dont get one

There is no such things as a perfect, 100% fault free car.
