Boydie, that car has perfect 'st4nc3' IMO.

Your 25mm H&Rs look lower than my 45/50mms. Still havent had a proper look around it, kept an eye out for the car at fastcar but didnt see you. Did you ever go ahead with re-trimming those interior bits?

Thanks mate - I turned up to Fast Car rather late and I was actually meant to meet Baron there with samples for the interior bits! I will meet up with him at the weekend or later next week to see what he can do for me!

Mine are 8j so you will need something like 235 to get the non stretch look.

But his wheels are 8J and yours are 9J.

Thanks N8, Love my speedline splits but cant get used to not being able to drive it hard with 215's on... 225's to be fitted after winter or guna have to sell them :(

P'HA!! I've got the track bug back... They too shiny to destroy! Plus storage is a nightmare with them lips!!

If you go for 235 on a 9j they should look similar to this or there might be a slight stretch.am i right nath?

Like many 8p owners I too am out to achieve the perfect stance. Regardless of any views on size of wheel filling arches etc. I plan to sit my sb on 17's. Currently running ap coilovers wound all the way down and to get as low as I want Im getting custom shorter springs. Performance is not a priority, but how low can I physically get my sb on coilovers without cv joints etc not working properly. Although I'm 25 this is my first 'real car'. Not the right thread im sure but any help would be appreciated.

Hows the ride on them Coli-overs *Müllërz ?

Suprisingly good ride. Can't say a bad word from my experience with v-max collies.
Got the exact height i wanted 1st time and no bedding in time.
Best thing i can change any time in the future(going to drop the rear same height as the front)
Due to the front being low i have to drive like a pensioner most of the time on uk roads and yet still i hear the front scraping:sob:

Air ride, Chavtastic! ***. *****.
Some awesome paint jobs though with the shine an all. Seriously, wtf is it with wanting the car on the floor? So you can pull up, lower it, then set fire to it and the grass when you lower the exhaust on the floor? LOL.
un-friggin-believeable.

M'coupe, what benefits do the H&R springs give over the standard ones? Other than the obvious lower ride height. I think yours looks perfect at that height, not too low, and the "stance" looks right too. I'm hoping they'll be a little less crashy than standard s-line set up.

Its his first German car so he doesnt understand

:iagree:with both of you.

Going back a few comments as they get older its harder for them to bend down so an air ride car is no good unless you can jack it up like the old mans easy up chair. At least that way they wont put a hip out....

Approx 20-25mm lower than S-line springs but give a predictable, firm ride giving a lot more confidence at speed. I found the S-line springs to be very crashy and not a very good match for the dampers at all. I went for the H&R over Eibach as I personally wanted equal lowering front and rear and not the nose down look. Don't forget to factor in getting your geometry reset too
