Drove from wales this morning to work, steady journey nothing out of the ordinary
when i got to Bristol and pulled into one of the side streets to park got to a junction, went to pull out and there was just nothing no power and no revs at first i thought i had stalled but i hadnt. the car just wasnt doing anything it crawed forward but there was just no response from the engine
put my hazards on and turned the car off waited a few mins and stared up again but still no power again it just crawed forward then out of no where revs and power
just been searching and trying to see what this might be ive read a few things about sticky veins on the turbo etc but im just a bit worried now! had it scanned a few months ago and there were no boot error codes etc
any ideas would be great biggest problem is im looking to sell the A3 and obviously if there is this problem no garage will even think about part ex'n it
Its a 140 BKD engine on 112k just incase that helps
