Gtx3071R

It seems I'm going to be using the gtx3071r
Is anyone using one of these ?
How good are they in comparison to the gt3071r
Has any used both and can tell there experience of using each of these turbos
Pros/cons that sort of thing!
Pls excuse my ignorance
I'm going to be doing a search and also a lil bit more research on the ole www, but thought I'd throw it out there for your opinions,thoughts and advice. god help me lol

I have no comparison to the GT3076

No cons in using the GTX that i have yet to see

Will the rest of the engine match the turbo?

I have yet to get mine fully mapped yet then i will let you know but in time i hope to max it out and go for 600+ as its rated at 650bhp

The cars going up north on the back of a lorry on Saturday and me n vince are taking the 2.0tfsi lump in the back of his it's moving fairly fast I think
I've done my fair bit of research to see for myself if I want to go through with this conversion, and all my boxes have been ticked!
I've now found someone that is confident and giving me lots of confidence in the build which is ace (Andy bower Lincoln VW specialist) as he's done soooo much research it's going over my head a little
I'm hoping for 450 bhp
Then next season when it's all run in and I'm happy she's strong I'll start playing with the Gas

The build should hopefully start moving in the middle of march!!!

I would say use the 0.63 hot side. I'm using the same hot side and with it it should be a nice road car

Ahhhhh I think that's the one he said actually
Should be able to hit 450 bhp at about 0.7 bar
I've been told by someone else who has built his fair share of 8p Bt builds

Wow 600/650 bhp that's epic
I've gotta mate who has an M5 v10 that's 610 bhp
He just uses t for track use
He took me out in it and I was shaking when I got out of it (traction control off too)
But that sort of power in an S3
That I've gotta see

Boost starts to build from 2k and hit full boost at 3650 rpms

Not that laggy i would say but i do have a 95.5mm stroke which does help with spool

Not a clue
But I did manage to make the engine pay for it's self

The TFSI has a large stroke and should spool well if you keep the standard compression
