Really? :lmfao:

In all seriousness though, good for you! I think the B5 RS4 is a dream car for most of us (apart from Dane, who can't afford to keep fixing his)

Stick about, just for the craic :)

ill be keeping an eye, dont you worry.......

That is a slight concern that it does cost loads to fix! thankfully i am getting a 12month warranty on it so that should save any major headaches and ease the pain on my wallet!

yea, ill should be able to post some later - they will be the pics from the dealer as i dont collect the car till tues....

As said, pics of your just chatting BS :).

Now now gents - I am not one to BS, I am a man of honour..... These are some pics from the dealer I bought it from. i will be able to provide crappy ones taken with my phone next week to prove im not fibbing if there is more doubters out there!!!

Happy? and yes the paintwork is as good as it looks in the pictures - the reason i bought it

i will admit i am a fan.

Also apologies, looks like i got a bit trigger happy on the copy and paste - that pic of the S1 shouldnt be there!
If only i owned that too......

Oh you absolute *******! Not ****** red one as well!!!!

I had a pic of a red b5 rs4 as my desktop for YEARS, one of my dream cars, and in THE perfect colour.

It's just not fair :(

I'm the same as you mate, my dream car..... I've wanted one since I first saw them - I'm now just lucky enough that I can afford one (just!)

I'll have to bring it down to a meet, i dont think im a million miles away from you - i would never have brought the green a3, just not tidy enough

that is stunning mate, i will be getting one in a few years, hope it treats you well :)

Ok now i believe you, b***ard, haha.

God damn stunning car mate and one of the best colours.

nice one, don't let people put you off with reliability crap, it's a well built car and there's many around with over 180,000 miles on the clock

as for the warranty, i'd check the small print, a lot of them are rubbish and only pay out a max of £500 per claim, which is nothing on these cars

did you get the car vagcomed ? if you didn't i really suggest you do as hidden problems can be expensive and i want you to have a great experience with the car from the first drive !!

make sure you join AudiSRS.com :: Index - plenty of decent lads on their willing to help

did you pay the asking price ?

ps - here's my RS4 thread RS4 b5 progress thread

I managed to knock a few quid off the asking price. I did stick a reader on the car and it showed no faults, but i might take it to someone like R-tech to check it over.

Cheers for the advice i will check over the warranty etc before i sign on the dotted line on tues. I will also register as you say because i know these things aint cheap to run!
