turborevs down pipe and decat

hi all has anyone fitted a turborevs downpipe and decat from ebay it says it will fit an s3 but needs the flang modding but in what way ?
or dose anyone no of a cheap downpipe and decat combo ?

I don't know of a ko4 downpipe from turborevs, do you ahve a link?

Turborevs downpipes are mainly for the ko3/s turbos, and are around £100.

KO4 downpipes start at £350 from XS power

A link would be useful and tbh anything that needs 'modifying' to fit is best left alone...

XS Power 3" DP is the one a lot of peeps have started using here...

Thats not an S3 downpipe and anyone that says different is telling porkies...

That will fit a K03/K03s turbo'd engine so A3, 180hp TT, Golf mk4, Ibiza, Leon etc... not an S3 or anything else with a transverse K04...

A3/golf downpipe, won't fit an S3 without a whole new flange, and a new bit of pipe welded on so basically a whole custom fitment!

sorry mate, but it's £350 or stick with standard!

I had a 3" stainless steel downpipe and 200 cell sport cat custom made and fitted for £500.

That's another alternative.

is it worth doing the down pipe or just the decat ? and people on here say a tip is worth doing but do 225bhp ones fit 210bhp ? is there any other better mods to spend my cash on

Downpipe on an S3 is the restrictive bit... you r choice then to go decat or 200 cell sports cat

I was staggered when I did my downpipe and adjusted the remapping. Its a different animal in the Mid range now and far more responsive on the throttle. Its certainly better than the cat back in my experience.
