Hi Paul - i sense an anger in your number 2 response - it may be me as im touchy at the best of times but i have not set out to upset
anybody on here ! I just thought by listing my entire bill it MAY help others ...I am still wondering what the 'repair ' kit is...
Ok so i have some 'latest'.
Our Indy garage guy rang us yesterday morning(saturday 10th). Bear in mind the following ;
We bought our A4 from the said Indy.
The balance shaft had been changed just prior to our purchase by a seperate Indy,NOT ours.
Are you following.
1880 miles later (not many of them are ours) the audi signature 'WTN' (whats that noise) appears.
WE book the A4 into TRURO AUDI for a checkover. They confirm BALANCER SHAFT and TURBO failure.
We ring our Indy to report bad news,just as well we have 3months warranty.
Car gets trailered from home back up to the Indy,who,instead of returning to the OTHER Indy in LONDON who did the job,takes it to Audi Exeter because he wants the job done correctly.They confirm BALANCE SHAFT is on its way out but the TURBO is fine .The car has sat there now for 6 weeks and 5 days.The turbo issue still to be resolved. i.e. TWO seperate dealerships giving differing opinions - oh dear,not clever.

We (us and the Indy ) are now on first name terms and getting bored of the Audi board game called 'Thats Life Jim'.
So back to the 'update' - our Indy rings AUDI UK to make an official complaint. They won't deal with him because his name is not on the logbook. (even though it his his responsibility to sort this as it is within his warranty time????!!!!)
So he rings us,more or less pleading that to get anywhere WE have to ring because WE are the owners!!!??? WTF???
So the wife rings Audi UK,and this is the basics ( no bolts or sealants)
'What is the problem' eh,you.'Where is my car???' They could not give any reason for the delay.This is NOT a common problem we were told.But the delay is down to a lot of 'SUDDEN FAILURES' The wife states our case,the guy sounds 'shocked' and,apparently,we are now in 'Barrymore' territory,we are now a HOTSPOT (Top,middle or bottom) i think 'bottom end'. We are now a 'priority'
AUDI UK are also,alledgedly opening a case as to why it has taken so long,AND as to why we have TWO different opinions on the Turbo,which i will not let drop. WE HAVE BEEN PROMISED A CALL BY THE END OF TUESDAY.
Any further news will be posted. Anyone not having any joy,ring AUDI UK,the EARTH WILL BE PROMISED....
