De-Badging ?

ok the holes your talking about are as james says galvanized and all done at the factory now im not saying you cant drill a hole and cover it and protict it but that not the holes i thought youed come back with to be fair and thought we was talking about out side unless you put the blind there lol
 
I'll bear it in mind if I can't afford that A6 Avant S-Line and need to get the MUCH cheaper Skoda Superb "Excellence"....

Mine's got the 2.5TDI & Quattro badges missing. Whether they were removed or the car was ordered debadged, I wouldn't know.

Personally, I hate the missing badges - I think it looks odd and I don't mind people knowing my car drinks at the dirty pump and besides, when you start it up, no-one's going to be fooled into thinking it's a 3.0 or S4....Does anyone know if you can still get the badges from Audi?

It's not to hide it. If I had an s4 id still debadge it. Its a personal preference to the look of the car and I personally find the rear badges too messy.

What do you all use to do this?

Just whipped the badges of my Avant ..

Used a boiling kettle and a credit card but got loads of **** left on the car :mad:

Any ideas?
 
Go pinch your misses nall polish remover dab it on nice and wet mate or some petrol if u can lay your hands on it

no it will be fine as you are just using it to lift the sticky bits off the paint have done it on many cars with no problems at all. the manyonnaise will eat right into the paint thou if your hungry lol
