53 2.0 tdi front bumper.......can i change for sline?

basically i hit a small deer not too long ago and it damaged the front bumper. i have always toyed with the idea of giving it an sline makeover so i thought as its damaged might aswell start now.just wanted to know if i can literally just take off the standard one and replace for the sline bigger grill type or is there anything else that needs changing aswell?thanks in advance mr b

Am I right in saying he's got an 8p1 and to fit the sline bumper you'd need different wings?
Or is that just for the newer sline bumpers? I'm quite interested cos I prefer the sline bumper to the sport and loads pop up on eBay.

8P1/8P2 TO 8P3 - NEEDS NEW BONNET, BUMPER, WINGS, HEADLIGHTS.... BASICALLY NEW FRONT END

Bonnet 100, bumper about 120-150 for a half dcent one off ebay, fog grille and lights about 80, and respray and fit about 200

Is the Fogs price includibg surrounds? I think there is a bloke on ebay selling the foglights and surrounds for 90, my mate just baught a bonnet for £100 so to be fair, it is a costly job but in my opinion the most effective appearance mod and really does make the front end stand out alot more!

based in bridgend, so it's a bit far for me to pick up. Don't know how to post the link or I would, sorry.

so if all you fellas have done the conversion one of you must have a bottom twin grill trim piece lying about i need one snapped mine painting it cars kinda naked without it all the twingrill I've seen on ebay never have them on

the side repeaters are going to be flushed out and painted so it looks like 8P3 wings. car needs to go into the garage soon, just waiting on funds.
