Here is the new s3 :D

47K, bose, heated recaro, centre arm rest, sun roof. Standard apart from sorted suspension set up.

Thanks.
5x100 reps are difficult to get but the OEM 5x112 off an S4 are fairly easy to get. Only problem is you will need hub adapters to make them fit and they cost another £200 almost :faint:

And lets be honest, there are better wheels in the world then S4 Avus III's.

I just can't think of any.

Rich, please please please remove the quattro badge from under the S3 badge. It's just not right :sadlike:

It was already on, and it's not the first i've seen like this either, so wasn't sure if it was standard or not....might have a go at removing sometime. Thanks.

Agree with Westy! But I do like the black "Recaro" branding on the front seats.

Previous owner seems to have 'coloured' them in, with some kind of paint, you've got to look really closley though to see it. Thanks.

agreed.
nice car though. combo i've not seen, the denim with ivory leather

Thanks, yeah iv'e not seen this combo before, and i especially like this colour leather too. :)

Rich, the car has a great color!!!

Thanks, yeah i love the colour too, in all the cars i've ever owned, this is the first blue car ever.

Looks nice and clean that mare.

Next up is winter mode which will begin next week and look very different! Will get a couple pics up when winter mode has been switched on! :)

That's a very nice S3 you've got there! Have a silver 2002 my self, and now I'm wondering what rims you have on yours? Make and size/width? looking to get some new 18" as I bought it with 19" wearing Nankang rubber... Want to swap for 18" with Pirelli P Zero's. Cheers!

speed bumps are the devil anyway!!! and if it aint rubbin it aint dubbin......

lol no none really even with ppl in the back not that i make a habbit of carrying a car full i was quite suprised myself, the arches on the s3 are wide anyway tho arent they, i imagine if it was a a3 it would.... ive since removed that suspenion as it was springs and shocks, coilys now and front stance rather than squating dog!! lol

I thought mine was quite low till i saw that - might have to try and wind mine down a little see if I can get any lower.

I take it you don't run with spacers on the back? the arches are wide but with spacers i'd assume that it would rub that low?

10mm spacers front and back, live life on the edge ;) ha

Recently acquired, just washed, couple of crappy photos. Next opportunity I get to give it a full inside and out clean, claybar and wax I will post some better pics up.

No modifications planned, just all the optional extras it should have had from the factory, electric folding mirrors etc.

I used to yeah when I had my 205 GTi(s).

So what are the exact model/type of wheels on your S3 in your sig? Those are the puppies I'm after.

Nice 205 by the way, always had a soft spot for Miamis, no doubt I will end up getting another soon. My 205 was the longest ownership car I've ever had. I have got bored of every other car I've owned after about a year and sold it on, not so with the old tin shed on wheels.

I thought I recognised the username. Nice choice of S3 BTW!

They're the OEM RSTT's commonly incorrectly referred to as RS4 alloys. You shouldn't find it too hard to find a set, just make sure you don't end up with heavier and softer reps as there's lots about.

I just can't shake the pug drug!
