My S3 has 19" wheels with 235/35/19 tyres on. At the moment the screws on the bumper have been removed, and it very rarely catches. Only when people are in the back and i go over a harsh bump.
I've read that its fine to lower on 225 tyres, which I will put on when these are worn out. Just wondering what will happen if I put H&R springs on with these tyres??
Any advice will be appriciated.
Thanks in advance

yeah get some 225's and you will be fine bud how low are you planning on going if its only a small amount then you won't have any issues i wouldn't have thought , also so long as your wheels have a good offset then no worries

PM boydie. He runs 235/35/19s with h&r 25mm springs on his s3. It also depends of the offset and width off wheel

I'm running 19x8 et44 ck's on the 235's. You will need remove the screw and shave the inner bar. Then you will have no issues.

Fairly low. Wheels just tuck in. 4
People no issues.

BBS CK 19x8. Check pic thread.

Im down low on 235/35/19s id say 60mm easy... Though rear wheels have had to be cambered slightly to get away with it

ok, just been out and took a wheel off. They are 19x8j and a 45 offset. Just need to know whats involved if I lower on my current tyres. Do H&R have different heights??
Thanks for the replys so far guys

Mine was lowered 25mm on h&r springs with mtm bimotos with 235 tyres, they used to catch until i took the arch screw out and trimmed the plastic lip. It was fine after that

Were is the plastic lip you have to trim??
