B6 Useful Ebay finds

Found this lower saloon s-line valance audi a4 b6 s line rear bumper 2001-2005 | eBay a little confused though, i e-mailed the seller to say that a saloon one won't fit the Avant, to which he replied, the top parts of the bumper are different but the bottom section is the same!........... New one on me but i am always open to having my knowledge expanded.

You need the appropriate control module, like the one i've linked to in post number 526. then you need a lower cowling with a gap for the additional cruise control stalk. u

Note that the DIS wiper stalk above is for a saloon/cabby. if you have an avant you need part number ending in "G" I believe (so you can push the stalk away for rear washer)

Thanks, i have the saloon. So all i have to do is look for a bottom cowling (and win the auction)

I have the 3 spoke steering wheel so it should fit/work
 
not neccessarily mate. I have the 3 spoke steering wheel (sport spec) but had to change my scsm. you can check physically by taking bits off but a vcds scan should also tell you the part number I think. I would assume though that if your car doesn't have cruise control or DIS then the module won't have been fitted.
 
I can confirm that if your car does not have DIS/cruise fitted from the factory, then you will need to upgrade the steering wheel control module......
