In hospital...
My first thought was American Pie, with the glue and the porno.

I'm assuming the misses is about to introduce a baby N****l into the world.
At least the carpet is down in the house :rockwoot:

Chez...I can't believe you're suggesting I was deceitful. ;)

So friggin bored, this is ridiculous. Almost 2 hours now for a bit of glue. The damn thing has started to heal. Bah humbug.

It's so tempting. We went back to ask the triage nurse, he said we've been bumped down the queue so laura asked if he could take another look as we think it's healing a bit. He said he couldn't give any opinions. So basically...he's a secretary is seems. So we might have just been waiting for no reason. Ghey

go home mate.its not bleeding, no bone sticking out and you can't see brain.just keep her awake and eye on her.I hate A&E, only go when I'm dead or a bone gone crack.

People who post these retarded "Everybody's going on abut Gary Speed but what about the soldier who died" facebook status's REALLY REALLY REALLY annoy me.

Because they sit up there on their high horse, looking down on everybody and casting their belittling judgment on everybody who dares mention whichever celebrity has died. But if it wasn't for some other c*** posting it first they wouldn't have a f****ng clue about the death of the serviceman they are using as a social tool to steal the moral high ground.

It's SO disrespectful to BOTH parties, it just annoys me SO much.

Back from hospital now. The girl is a machine, didn't even flinch when she cleaned it all etc. :)

No baby still, boo hiss. And no, she's not a porker. Well she is, but she isn't usually. She's got a good chassis on her ;)

j-dude, i posted a status just like that example. unfortunately no i didnt find out the news of the soldier first hand from the military, i know because my mate who is a marine told me, and that raises the issue of how much our service men and women are ignored and forgotten. we all know what will be all over the tabloids tomorrow, not the soldiers thats for sure. and that REALLY REALLY makes me hate this country more than i already do. surely that makes you feel the same??

and the people that might be finding out about soldiers through social networks (this can be considered another form of media and a source of news), are still acknowledging soldiers, which is a good thing!

people, and the media, have all their priorities wrong. the people serving this country need more mention and news coverage, end of. so anyone posting on facebook about it, good on them, they are showing other people what is a priority, or should be considered more deserving of a mention.

Morning all.

Karl you're right, our service men an women should recieve more recognition.

The reason Speed will be talked about more though is because it was a total shock that a healthy 42 year old who many watched on the TV on Saturday, hung himself that night. The servicemen died in a war, where casualties and death are expected.

Pretty much as Westy said.

I just find it so totally disrespectful that people would use the death of a serviceman, and a well known member of publics death as a social tool to make themselves look all high and mighty. Its the copy and paste mentality that I cannot stand, because if they hadn't of just read it on some other do-gooders facebook they would never have known themselves.

Morning all,

Its all about whats on the TV and the fake world there in, the rear world is it not hip or cool (god I sound like my grandad) enough for people to talk about.
They would rather talk about what happened in TOWIE or X-factor over their views, thoughts on the world or their country.

I hate them ****** Copy 'n Paste statues, they really **** me off.
Copy and 'n Paste this to show your support or some crap for some issue that is effecting people. **** OFF!!
Put your hand in your pockets or get out there and doing something proactive about it, copying and pasting every little thing on to your facebook in an unimaginative fashion does not mean (IMHO) that you full support it, you're just doing it to make it look like you to.

Tossers!!

You also have to remember that football is the biggest sport in England, and the world, and a lot of people would feel a lot closer to someone who has been on TV or who they have watched play football compared to a serviceman that they have never even heard of before. Noting to do with fake vs real world.

scott! i disliked your post by accident dude! i do appologise! my lap top has issues!
all this debate!
i am trying hard to resist getting on my soap box!
i shall resist! and keep shtum!

Thats very true.
They must feel the same way as I do when sports people die.

I have to admit that the loss of Gary Speed didn't effect me as much as other 'celebrity' deaths have. I think this is partly because he didn't really appear on my radar, and partly because he commited suicide, which although sad, does mean that my sympathy is less for him, and more for his family. I really struggled to come to terms with the death of Marco Simoncelli a month or so ago, despite having never met him, as I had watched him in motogp for years. I think its about what you grow up/watch/listen to on a daily/weekly basis. Although I am saddened to hear of the death of a serviceman, they go to war knowing that death is something that could happen.

I just think that service men and women should get more gratitude.
There's more important things in the world than some rich bloke who took his own life. Which is sad no doubt, for the family.

Two deaths thatmade me sort of choke up were MJ and steve irwin. But even then, they shouldnt have hogged the media, regardless of how much of an icon they are
