My sister had hers done some time ago and she has to get them replaced after 10 years I think.



i just took delivery of a set of 20x9.5J alloys with 255/35/20 tyres. They are sent to me but I never bought them so no idea why I got them.
They are 5x120 with ET48.

What should I do?

They have done a nice job Welly. So natural looking. It would be hard to tell the difference imo.

I know, so so good. It annoys me when people say don't go abroad because they bodge it.

OK, I am sure that there are some cowboy clinics out there, yes. However if you take the time and do your research, then this is the kind of result you get.

There is no way that having it done in the UK would have produced a better result, just more cost.

erm thats nice isnt it?
i would keep them a week first mate as its not like a letter delivered next door, and whoever lugged them to you will remember where he delivered them after he got his gonads cut off for cocking up!
then, keep them and throw them on audrey!:arco:

They will fit my dads motor, so I'll chuck them to him if I don't hear any thing.
The odd thing is the delivery not has my name and address on it, as if I ordered them my self.

Sit back and wait and see I think.

Stick them on your car and drive around in them Scott, make sure you kerb a couple whilst you're at it. If someone comes for them, tell them to help themselves! :laugh:
 
If they was 5x112 I would, I don't think I could 5x120 on or even the fact that they are 20"s.

I got 2 hours to hide a set of 20" alloys.
I think its a hopeless tasks.

No, not at all.
Thats not his style.
Plus he's to busy farting about with his stereo at the moment.
Does he got for a £300-£400 Chinese VAG copy unit that does every thing or a genuine VAG and then buy the bluetooth module later.

He's doing my head in. lol
I keep telling him to get the RNS-510 and add the bluetooth unit to it, greater chance of every thing working (steering wheel and cluster display) and it will last longer than the chinky version.
 
I'm bored of my S3, is it time for a change? I don't dislike the car, far from it, I took another member of the forum out in it on tuesday, and it went really well, quick and stuck to the road as I expected it to! But after I got back and parked up, I felt underwhelmed. For some stupid reason, I felt it was more fun driving around in an 06 plate Rav4.

In the last few years, there's been changes in my business, which means I have less time to drive it, or more to the point, I won't drive it to work, it's not a great area, and dropped a few notches in recent times also.

Midlife crisis perhaps? lol
 
I am working today if you fancy popping in? Otherwise I am kind of free tomorrow? Pleased with the wheels?

That's the thing, it IS a weekend car already! To be honest, I've put more mile in it in the last 6 weeks than I have 18 months previous to it, so maybe it's just me getting use to the power again, and everything has slowed down.
 
I got some epic 007 viagra last night!

It really made me Roger Moore!

No seriously, anybody got a yellow 007 spring they dont want, need or want to swap for a green?
