Hi all,

Having not had an Audi in a few years whilst I finished studying I'm back on the Audi bandwagon with the car mentioned above
I've had some good history with Audis in the household with my father being a big fan, so growing up with original Audi quattros, coupes and an S2 I've come full circle and made my current purchase a few weeks ago.
Loving the car right now, Phantom black with the Black Optics kit, Volterra leather etc.

Just signed up to get some more info on how I can improve it.
I've already got a few thoughts in mind, such as the RS4 grill (the car already has the 14-spoke wheels), the Cupra splitter and possibly an engine remap.
Any help along my journey is very much appreciated :)

:sign_welcome: TO ASN i have the same car but with a 2.0T i have a cupra splitter but not fitted as didnt feel it looked rite when i offered it up to car as for the re-map were abouts are you located a member on her Rhyso does re-maps his 170tdi A3 is now running close to 200bhp his website is The Home of Kinetic Tuning - For all your tuning needs drop him a line or pm

Cheers Drmole, I noticed your car in the garage when I joined last night, it looks great :)
I'm in Birmingham, so not sure where the best place to go would be. Once I've done a bit more homework, I'll contact Rhyso on your recommendation.
I've seen the splitter on a few red A4s and the black contrasts nicely. I've yet to see one on a black one so I'm not entirely sure how it'll look.
I don't have a centre arm-rest which is one simple thing I miss having on a car so I'll be looking to source one with fitting instructions lol

Hi welcome to ASN. Post over on the A4 section for any info/advice you need. The guys will be more than willing to help you spend your
money. Enjoy the forum.

Hi, welcome to ASN from one A4 owner to another, your A4 sounds nice,i run a 57 plate 2.0tdi s line running 210 bhp following a map, this was already done when i got the car, made contact with the owner and its 320 + lb/ft now also - much quicker than my old 1.8t and still gives 48+ mpg - i have seen splitters and they do look good - trust me black on black looks nice - looked at an advant with one on.
Mine is also dropped 60mm with 19" A5 rims that some say will not fit - lol

Cheers for the welcome, all :)

I'm considering a drop now after seeing a few B7s on here that have had suspension tweaks. Each time I look at my car now, all I see is the gap between the wheel arch and wheels, and it's not even a significant amount! This is what ASN has done to me lol

mine was all done when i bought it, garage didn't even realize it had been done, the ride is firm but feels more connected than my old B6 - went to so many show's and made my mind up to upgrade as my B6 was mint.
Were i live there are not many modified B7's so it does get some looks - its the rims that you really don't see on B7's its mostly deep dish.
19" with 8" width have given no rubbing or catching. I can just get my hand through the gap between arch and wheel - with my family in the car the wheels are well under the arch. Hope you give a DROP :hi:

I don't think I want to drop it a huge amount, maybe just another 25mm to add a more sporty stance to the car.
Ah, so many options, so little money... :)
