So after looking for ages for a B6 Avant TDI Quattro Sport, I've decided to give up the search and go back to my original plan of buying what the missus wanted in the first place. The idea was to kill two birds with one stone and replace my ageing and dying 1995 Toyota Rav4 and 2000 Passat TDI Estate with the B6 Quattro.
1995~2011 Toyota Rav4 GS, with optional alloys and alloy chrome bullbars. I remember picking this car up brand spanking new from the dealers in 1995 @845am, then going into college in to to take an 'A' Level Maths exam which I failed! lol It cost my dad £13800 exactly. Gutted to see it go, but it's got a terminal oil leak, so time to part with it after doing good justice for me over 16 years on and off.
So the replacement, another Rav4 in 3 door form. Toyota stopped production of these in 2005, so my plan was to look for the latest car I could find with the lowest mileage, as I plan to keep it for a while. So found this 06 plate example int XTR spec with 34k miles on the clock in my price range, and very happy with it indeed!
