Just watched the film tonight on DVD & it was absolutley brilliant, Was a real tribute to the guy. Now i'm no formula 1 fan & to be honest the first time i even heard of senna was when the film was advertised last year on top gear. Formula 1 fan or not i def reccomend everyone see it, there are some really interesting bits in it especially seen what a dirty, sneaky ******* Alain prost is!

I bought this in Bluray and watched last night. I am a big F1 fan, and found this to be a very factual and fantastic movie. Its a must see movie for all F1 fans and even those who are not.

top film aint it sandra, he really was someone special. they dont make racing like that anymore for instance when he won the brazilian GP and he couldnt move his body and his shoulders were gone. epic driver, epic man. prost really didnt like senna and i forget his name but the french guy who was in charge of FIA i think he was a complete toss pot in the driver briefings

Its one of the best films that I have watched recently. As you said, he could barely lift the trophy abive his head, and idnt want people to touch him. He was an awesome driver with a great talent. It was a very sad end to his young life. He was already a legend, just think what he
could of done if he hadnt died so tragically. I agree with you about the president of the FIA, he was certainly in the pocket of Prost. Didnt matter what Prost did, he was never penalised in any way. Prost didnt like Senna, as he could see tht he was so much more talented than he ever was.

Got this for my birthday, it is a really good watch.

Truly great film which shows that whilst progress has meant we thankfully aren't losing lives at the rate the we were once, the offset of this is that motor racing has ultimately lost its soul. Interestingly it lays bear how the politics were still driving the title wins, even back then, and how it's unlikely to ever be a 'pure' sport when there are so many vested interests to satisfy.

Senna was a complex guy, hugely driven and sometimes opportunist, but he had a good generous heart. Ecclestones predecessor Jean Marie Balestre and Prost were a couple of smarmy twats, I was surprised Prost had the gall to prop the coffin, but I guess the Gallic tit has had the time for some reflection. If you think F1 is dull, you're right; watch this film and see the spectacle that F1 used to deliver wheel to wheel in the good old days. Two hours of absolute joy!

Watched this a while back, and loved it. Right from the get go, it sucks you right into his life. Now I'm a huge F1 nut so it was a must watch for me, any anyone else that is! Even if they're not into racing! I know a few people that aren't F1 fans, but enjoyed that film. One thing I couldn't get my head around was the footage used in it! If people think that politics rule the game now, should watch this movie. It was MUCH worse back then. I'm sure it goes on now but not to that extent.

Another thing that crossed my mind was Ron Dennis. I've been watching F1 since 1997 and I've never seen him in the light that he was in that movie. I thought he was a soulless cold hearted boss. I wonder if because he was that close to Senna, after his death Ron just shut off all types of emotion to anyone.

Got to admit.... that moment welled me up a bit. Astonishing.

Just watched this,a good insight.
Upsetting the scenes at Imola

A amazing film! Have it on dvd. Senna was a total legend within the sport.

Found it very difficult watching the last 40 mins, knowing what was coming up.
