My car is coming up to 5 years old and i think it's time to give it a treat and pay for a professional paint correction/polishing service.

Paintwork is in very good condition but has the usual slight surface markings/swirls etc etc which are inevitable during daily use and frequent washes.

Anybody recommend a good company to do this sort of thing?

Thanks

Ah sorry - important bit i missed huh? - Manchester :)

Or you could give N8 a shout as he's a mancboy, member of this forum & by all accounts very good :)

any one know what you would expect to pay on a car that needed correction ( just cobwebs)

Depends on how far you want to go mate, but £300 seems a round figure for a good days work from my checks.

i would recommend that you sepnd good money having it done as you can get caught out with this.

bloodt hell is there anything he dosnt do

Roll on reps is about all that comes to mind(!); he's sound and his car is mint so I don't doubt he'll do a proper job.

I've emailed a lad I know that lives in st helens from Vw forum, he's good, he called mike hurst (Dubmike)
I'l let ya know if he can do it not

that name seems familiar

£300... which makes me wonder what a 'full body machine polish' would be like from williams BMW manchester for £50

Seems too good to be true that price

for £50 you won't be getting a detail mate you will be getting a valet totally different things

oh i know that - still it does say 'machine polish' not valet - but guessing would be a quick whip over the car with no masking edges or anything liek that - must be risky
