Lingy, Nath....after looking really closely at my newly acquired second-hand Speedlines, who can I give them to for a full refurb in the Spring ( considering I haven't got any other wheels to put on whilst they are being done ), and what will it cost to get them back to perfection ?

The faces are pretty clean....probably 90% but not perfect, but the inside rims have pretty heavy corrosion and according to the tyre fitter two of them are slightly buckled ( although I can't feel anything at any speeds on the road ), so I want to get them back to 'As New' after the winter.....nothing fancy like a colour change, just O.E but perfect.

I live in Cambridgeshire but am happy to drive to the best place to get them done within reason, as I would rather they were done properly and it cost me a bit of petrol.

Pm Nath,N8, he has a top guy for buckles .And he can get them mint .Theres a place in Cov called pureclass who do deals on splits also .But speak to N8 first mate .

Lingy, what springs have you got to give your car that perfect drop ?

I said I was going to leave the suspension standard, but the more I look at it with the Speedlines on, the more I think it needs the wheel arch gap removed !!!!

Damn this forum......it's costing me a fortune !!!!!!

.There not all the way down took me a while to get them right .ok there Joms
rides hardish but im used to them now .Much better than spot oe setup though

Wanna sell the other set? Allthough I'd need 4x8,5x19" since the stupid legislation here in Finland makes it illegal to fit 215 on 9"

I can see the merits of the changes you've made. I think the grille works well in the grey, provides a good contrast. Tempting. I went for BE as the pack price made sense, but I've already had black interior trim panels replaced with alu!

Got a flat yesterday. Ran out of rubber it seems! Embarassed to admit I thought I'd checked the tyres, but not the inner tread it seems.

So, got the wheels and tyres changed today. Just in the nick of time as I reckon the other front was on its way fairly soon.

Yikes...

Quick one of the winter's on the car. Colour of the wheels matches the front splitter and rear valance a treat.

It's criminally dirty, but hoping to get it washed this weekend...

Thanks again to 1inchpunch, cracking wheels. Better pics once its washed, I promise!
