after installing my fmic i checked everything about 5 times to make sure everything was tight and plugged in, and i had been driving the car for around a week with no problems.

but the other day when i was pulling out of the village i live in some **** didn't signal to say he was swapping lanes (its a dual carriage way i pull out on to) so i had just pulled out and seen him switch lanes so instead of having some gay go in to the back of me i put my foot down to get up to speed, in second the car got to about 3K rpm then bang the car shot me forward like id just banged the breaks on, the turbo was mega loud and it dumped like it never had before.

anyway after this happened the car would not rev over 2.5K so i pulled over where i could had a look couldn't see anything was still dark, so i slowly crawled to work in to the car park and had a proper look in the engine bay, the n75 take off pipe had snapped about an inch away from the clip :( so at lunch when the car had cooled down i went back and cut the pipe down and fitted it again the car ran and it drives now but it doesn't feel the same. im guessing some thing has gone pretty wrong.

iv scanned it nothing on it, im going to look at getting it in to a garage for some body who knows what there doing to have a look.

any one have any idea what could of broke?

sorry for the essay i find it hard to get what i want to say down in text

Ahh that's properly unlucky. 'Fraid I can't offer any useful advice but hope you get it sorted soon.

For the N75 pipe to snap, something pretty major must have happened. Not that it will be causing a problem with power, but do engine mounts seem ok?

Check all the intercooler pipe work to make sure none have come loose. Then check all hoses round TIP to make sure nothing else around the N75 / DV are causing any issues (is DV firmly planted on its hose at the base?.

If no error codes then it's all trial and error unless yo can do some logged runs.

every thing is tight not blowing my own trumpet but im pretty strong and nothing turns or pops off when wiggled or pulled to see if its loose, as far as i can tell all the intercooler pipes are in and sealed but im no pro, i guess i could find some where that does smoke tests to clear that up.

what would i need to log im happy about doing my own logs just need somebody in the car with me so they can do the laptop clicking while i drive.

has anybody herd of this place a friend of mine said there pretty alright. Audi, Volkswagen, VW, SEAT, Skoda specialist - Home - Vasstech

over tightening rubber pipes and some silicon ones, shears them off.. Had this happen to me on silicon pipes and tired rubber ones on n75 feed off charge pipe

log block 115 and 118 and see what boost request vs actual does

update:

so i took my car to a garage turns out my rattle was a bolt missing from the back of the engine so that got replaced now my rattle has gone.

check for boost leaks. there were none.

bad idle and running was down to the temp sensor reading that it was -10 all the time, the car was major over fuleing new spark plugs where needed as well as a temp sensor so all is good :D

Nice one, glad it's sorted mate, and not too expensive!

it was all good mate cost 30 quid for new plugs ngk laser platinum, the temp sender i got it from TPS that was 30 quid so yeah alot better than a kick in the teeth
