Can anybody tell me how the OEM 6 disc changer ties in with the fuel system?

After fitting one to my 2.5TDi and loading it with rock CDs, my country road MPG has gone through the floor! :thrashi:

There's none that I'm aware of??
I've replaced my OEM changer in boot on my car in the past with no adverse effects.
How are you measuring fuel economy? The only acccurate way in my experience is filling tank to brim , driving the required distance and then filling to brim again and then divide distance travelled by volume of fuel used to get a totally accurate figure.
If you're going by the figures on the DIS I always ignore them as they always seem to be way, way out.......
Edit, I now realise your post was a joke,lol.......................I always drive to relaxing music, it really helps to eke the fuel out, lol.

Change the CD's to classical, that way, your right foot should be a lot lighter on the loud pedal, thus saving you fuel!! :moa:

Damn that Tchaikovsky and his quarter past six-ish:racer:!

(18:12 if you need to ask)
