That the 'show us your missus' thread appears to have gone. Quite enjoyed having a quiet perve, and the best bit was how innocent it seemed, both on-screen and in the browsing history.
 
Try the top shelf magazines at your newsagents for an alternative ;)

In terms of devastation... the deletion of that thread is up there with the end of production of the Escort Cosworth.

one question though, why on earth was the thread cancelled in the end? i mean it was running for months with no issues. its not like it suddenly offended someone was it?
or did someone just get caught posting pics that they shouldnt have and then got reported?

I do believe that it had something to do with wanting to clean up the image of ASN. We asked for a locked area that isn't open to the public but it didn't happen. This also coincided with a few members on the pub thread getting banned too.
 
Apparently someone posted a pic of their Mrs but it turned out to be a Mr.
One of the mods found this Mrs particularly attractive and when they found out it was a Mr they panicked and deleted the thread by accident.

That's what I heard anyway.
 
hmmm i agree with the private members area thing... sounds much better. i have seen forums where certain threads are locked until you have 15 posts or something, much like the unable to send PMs here unless you have 15 posts.

its a shame though... so much talent gone to waste.
 
Yeah it is a waste. Used to login here on occasion just to view that very thread.

lol i did that the other day and then posted up on the pub thread that its missing... wasnt too bad though since i was going to see 'her' later that evening :eyebrows:

what exactly happened i heard was all the feds with no women, or ugly birds that read on here objected and blew the whistle mate!
they felt that basically looking at a nice un x related image of hot totty was bad for the site!
so the keyboard warriors in charge that still live with there mums and have no way on earth to have access to meeting real women in the flesh spat there dummies out, and pulled the plug! very sad indeed
oh and by the way lads, we have indeed asked for a private section etc, but i fear the upety pretend policemen on here would have no control over that and would make there existance to belittle and talk down to us invalid! so nowt happened!
its a power mad thing!

:) Have to agree the thread was a bit of harmless fun...and nobody had to look at it, it even had the NSFW warning for scott! so everybody should have been happy??????....hmmmm:sly:

maybe if it had featured a few more beards or men with brown corduroy pants it would have been acceptable!

i would shut any thread down that made people smile, laugh, cringe, feel happy or think a bit!

Talking of power, you seem to like to use what you havnt got on here to wind members up and push limits for a giggle. I love banter and fun as many on here know but to deliberately goad folk and show not an ounce of respect is just boring after the length of time you have done it for.

I don't mean to be rude, but the ignorance of people who get ****ty because they don't get their own way, so assume we're all acne ridden teenage pillow humpers... Mate, you want to get out more, the clue is in the name of the site, if you want to pimp pictures of your misses then there are sites for that too, so fill your boots.

Try and respect if nothing else we give up our personal time freely in order to keep this place on the straight and narrow, it's not all about you. Whilst its a public forum, it's for use by people, not for them to use as they please. We have forum sponsors who may not want their brand image associated with this kind of stuff, and we have to respect this too, it keeps the site going ***.

Just try and think outside the box a little bit.

PS: try reading the site rules, you probably agreed to them when you signed up?
