Hi all,
I've got a replacement passenger door blade for my s3 but i can't find any info on removal or refiiting.
Anyone got any tips or know of any links to some info.
Cheers!

4 screws mate, one at the front and one at the back of the door. There's 2 more under 2 rubber grommets under the door card, make sure you have a magnetic screwdriver, cos if you drop them, it's door card off time! Once you remoce the screw, the door blade just slides backward by an ince or so and pulls off!
I highly recommend you get some new screw from Audi, they are 26p each(they was 6 years ago!) I think?

Out of interest Jojo, why do you suggest new screws? I'm planning on having my trims off soon so I can repaint them (meant to do it already. Typically)

Because they are tiny, and you will probably ruin the old ones whilst taking them off, the new ones are only pennies and look galvanised compared to the original ones I had.

Bringing this one back to the top. I'm trying to get the passenger side rear door blade off and can only find tips for the one on the door.

From what I can gather it's just a matter of:

- open passenger door
- slide rear door blade left towards the open.

I've tried this and it's not playing ball so before I go all out and but a bit of force into it, I just wanted to double check that this is correct. Obviously I don't want to break anything that's supposed to remain on the car lol

Any pics of what's left on the car once it's removed would be great.

Thanks for the link and read it before but from what I can see its only for the blade on the door itself. Im trying to remove the one on the quarter panel :)

Open door and pull it towards the front and it just comes off well mine did.

Yep it just slides out....put a cloth over the end and gently tap the blade with a rubber mallet and it will soon loosen off.

So the blades on the rear quarter panels just attach to pins (ie no screws)? Presumably therefore re-fitting is just the reverse of removal, right?

No pins...a runner is built into the car and it just slides completely off the entire way. The door needs to be fully open.
