Hugely random idea, but perhaps a bit of fun.

The Tripod Thread: who can get the most Bizzare pics of their car on 3 wheels?

I started off a few weeks back when I noticed mine went onto 3 wheels when turning into my drive:

Anyone else got any interesting pics?

I'm liking that volvo! Any spec?
I'm going to put my health and safety helmet on and say this looks dangerous, love it :)

those pics made me cringe! How on earth did you do that? Im scared driving over pot holes let alone letting my car hang off a cliff! lol

I want to see the pics of the ones that went wrong

My old Ibiza, first shot is at Cadwell, second one is from Bedford. Used to get it onto 3 wheels in most tight corners....

woooohoooooo, someone's joined in!

Despite how it looks, it's actually not dangerous at all, I don't think you could tip it if you tried!

Got some proper funny looks though!

^ loves it! Clarkson did that on topgear funny as!

yea, that doesnt count!

1- it's not you

2- it's no longer a tripod, it's a ****** bicycle!

1000 internet points awarded to anyone who can get a more bizzare tripod shot than mine!

I've got an idea for the ultimate one, but I don't think I'm brave enough.

This could be the next big thing lol.

Reminds me of the planking threads.

I'm going to be driving round now looking for stupid places to get more pics! Might try it in the daily and see how a full weight road car behaves!

Be interesting to see if you can open all doors, boot and bonnet.
If I had 1 wheel off the ground on the sierra I could not open any thing, if it was open I could not close it again.

when are we doing it then Mr. P? need to find a quay side that's impressively high enough!

What you doing next weekend? Haha! I'm pretty sure that slipway I suggested is the place for it. When its low tide, its a fair old drop into the sea....

I'll see what I can do :p I don't think this idea ever really took off though!

Shame, it was fun.

I went back there the other week to try it in the dailly to get a pic for pierre, and they've put bollards across it now so we can't play there again :(
