F1 Season 2011

LOL yeah i knew what you ment.. No harm done :)

Ok forgive me for "Boring" you all but what do you make of this...?.. Looks like tom cruise will have a new friend anytime time..

The rumours are swirling after Lewis Hamilton's troubled 2011 season took another twist in Korea.
The 2008 world champion, recently locked in a dispute with Felipe Massa after a spate of incidents, did not return a radio message on Saturday after his engineer applauded his pole position

"It is not obligatory to whoop," said McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh.
But there is more to it than that. Hamilton, 26, did not wave after emerging from his cockpit in parc ferme, try to avoid a cameraman with his shoulder, smile once during the press conference, or raise his voice above a monotone.
The interviewer's first question to the unshaved Briton was: "Is everything ok?"
His quiet answers did nothing to prevent the ensuing rumours.
The Independent's David Tremayne believes Hamilton had a raging row with his McLaren bosses after Suzuka, where his on-form teammate Jenson Button won.
"There is talk among McLaren insiders of words being said in the aftermath of Suzuka that cannot be taken back", he reported.
Correspondents for the Corriere dello Sport and O Estado de S.Paulo newspapers, meanwhile, claim Hamilton's mood might be explained by his apparent joining of the controversial celebrity religion Scientology.
A tamer theory is that he is struggling to accept Jenson Button's ascension to prominence at McLaren, a team he has been contracted to since childhood.
"I don't think that relationship (with the team) has been affected by Jenson," Hamilton is quoted by the Express newspaper.

If he's turned to Scientology it makes you realise he's not got a decent support network around him at what is a tough time for him.

Each to their own, but it's probably the last distraction he needs right now.

although i am a big lewis fan ever since he came on the seen i juts loved him but come on lets face it, these boys are the best racing drivers(well atleast the top 18 are) in the world and thats that...... all they are is drivers. when i see lewis hooking up with nicole all i thought is why????? we all have seen what happens to normal people from britain being dragged into the american celebrity world, its all done hill for lewis if he remains friends with these idiots cuz come on. the americans are ****ing idiots right? if he really is there to be number 1 and be a legend and loves F1 through and through then if i was him i would ditch the pussy cat, ditch simon fuller(what the fuk do you know about F1 you little ****) and get back to his old man, get back to racing and live a normal life with a normal mrs not some american reject band singer. there will come a time(and i think its coming soon) when lewis gets dragged away from F1 and goes into other drives like indy or nascar etc and we will lose one of the best drivers who is also british from F1 and that will be a sad day, but what is for ceratain is that there is defo something underlying with lewis and he cant shake it yet. hurry up 2012(down with sky)

Agree with you there, he needs to make some changes and get back to racing, I dont think the british media has helped at all and he needs better management to deal with the press. Remember his 1st season in F1 where he didnt do interviews prior to the race, I think given his recent form in front of the press he liked to be back in that situation, just left on his own. Have to admit that Seb is very good with the press and still comes over as a down to earth guy, the only thing that bugs me is his radio messages at the end of the race when he's won. Will be interesting to see how he manages the press when things arnt always going so well which has to happen one day doesnt it?

Love 'nipplegate'; Coulthard at his best!

what did i say huh!!!

hopefully he himself is seeing what these sorts of things do to his racing. lets hope he ditches his american celeb status **** and gets on with racing and winning again

You know Raptor, not even I follow LH at this level, I sometime think whose the bigger fan of Lewis Hamilton between me and you?! lol

(or maybe you're just a stalker!)

Its front page of todays newspaper. Cant really miss it bro.

Apparently she has left him due to the fact he can't drive anymore ;o) lol

But will this help him concentrate on his driving, or will he go off the rails?

thing is we dont know what happens behind closed doors so lewis and her could have been arguing for a while which will have affected his driving. i just hope now that he fully concentrates on his career and gets back to his best which i think he will. i wish he was back with his dad as his manager. he was a massive celeb in and out of the formula 1 world over night due to his talent

His problem is, he thinks hes a playboy. more bothered about how his hair looks, his new earings, places he goes and the tart on his arm.

Look at Vetel. Down to earth guy with messy hair and cares only about his driving. BBC made a comment in the forum after the race when he took his second WDC. They said within a matter of 20mins after he took the title, he was in the pirreli garage talking about tyres with the pirelli guys. They said he is clearly focused on his car and how it drives.

Ramilton would care more about having his picture taken with the tart on his arm and how his hair is on camera.

I agree tho he needs to go back with his Dad as manager an not Simon fullers entertainment managment.

Person i think next year will either make him or break what hes got left of P.R. I mean if he has another crap season then not many teams will want him..

My 2 cents.

lets get one thing straight reptor................... lewis aint got no hair lol. i know what your saying but only when it comes to vettel as i dont think lewis is more interested in the lifestyle and celeb **** otherwise we would see him evrywhere in papers and mags but he is not which is good. lewis fell in with the wrong crowd(non racing, non sporting crowd i.e the p diddys) and it has affected him, he met his ex at a music award ceremony!!!!!! he is racing driver so what the **** was he doing at an event like that but hey its old news now and we have seen his fall from the top this season.

vettel is a pure proffesional and deserves his respect for being 100% committed to his job, im starting to like seb more and more for what he is as a person and a driver. like you said rep he was talking to the pirrelli guys which shows he wants to be one step ahead as much as he can so fair play to him.

2012 will be better for lewis and i really hope teams can start battaling red bull

Totaly agree with all you said there :)

I hope it will be more of a even fight next session and its starting to look like another Ferrari style dominace when they won year after year. Gets pretty boring when the titles are done just over half way throught the session. I used to support Mika Hakinnen until he retired and those years were the best IMO. The WDC was normaly settled in suzuka and went down to the wire. Was truely edge of seat times and im sure all fans can say those type of races are the reason why we follow it.

I still think next year will be the make or break of lewis and if he doesnt get his head together then not many teams will want him. Sure teams will want him but no top teams will take the risk if he doesnt show results next year.

I still believe he will be racing with red bull in 2013 and take webbers seat, provided he does good next year. Guess time will tell :)

in all honesty as much as i am a maclaren fan, i would like to see lewis in red bull.

on a sadder note. RIP Simoncelli

Lewis Hamilton in a red bull would certainly be interesting to watch.
R.I.P Marco Simoncelli. Moto GP has lost a talented rider.

Karun Chandhok will not race in the inaugural Indian Grand Prix

Thank god for that!! Lets see now if he suddenly dissapears from practice commentary AFTER this weekend. He has been working the P.R pony like a good un for the past few weeks, being on TV, doing public shows, relentlessly saying crap on f1 sites just to get a seat.. Well now his efforts have failed i bet his dissapears again AFTER this weekends GP.

in a way im glad he is not racing this weekend as yes he is crap lol although i do think he gives good insight on F1 when on practice , i think he would be better at doing commentary or TV work than being a driver(F1 anyway). i checked out the indian GP with vettel going round the track and i must say it looks like a nice track to race on with some lovely corners and some pretty fast straights so im looking forward to this one

Rossi has not been the same since his accident, but im sure a lot of his poor results are down to the set up problems with the ducati. Time will tell though.
isnt this the case with all sports i find, look at massa. he has not been the same since his accident, footballers dont look the same after injuries etc etc. sometimes(in rossis case) the people who have been doing it for a long time and been multipule champions should bow out gracefully whilst still being thought of as a hero or legend otherwise sometimes people are known for what they have done badly rather than good

problem there is that the people who are winners and have that edge know it, and the will to carry on is 9/10 stronger.....rock and a hard place i spose

Massa on top after frantic first day in India
Felipe Massa ended an incident-packed first day of running on the new Buddh International Circuit on top of the time sheets, the Ferrari driver clocking a 1:25.706 to finish ahead of Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton. Mark Webber finished fifth fastest from Jenson Button, Adrian Sutil and Bruno Senna.

And in other news...
Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez have both been slapped with three-place grid penalties at the Indian Grand Prix for ignoring double-waved yellow flags during the first practice session.

You mean Hamilton and Massa..lol

Well well, looks like its almost a done deal that Kimi will be driving a williams next year. I for one cant wait!!! Great driver for sure.

Didnt someone on here predict this alooooong time ago? Oh yeah...ME...hehe

Maybe I'm biased because I dislike Hamilton but Im not surprised when he collides anymore, Massa may have been penalised but I blame Hamilton.

The officials blame Massa but hey what do they know ;)

Not as much as me :)

Wanted to add to this after just seeing Eddie Jordan's comments, he said he could clearly see that Massa looks and sees Hamilton. Not sure what video he was watching to see this and be so certain. This means Massa purposely took himself off, come on!

See Massa's head tilt to watch in his mirror and see where Hamilton is. Stewards decision I think underlines this.

Massa wasn't even able to learn from his mistakes of yesterday on the kerbs, so he's hardly a faultless benchmark of excellence. Probably started when Hamilton took the title in Brazil a good few years back, and will rumble on; and on, and on...........

Good point.

massa is a ****, lewis is a knob head who needs a slap, vettel is awesome, alonso needs a better car, button will be champ again, webber needs to quit.................. there lads, i just summed up that boring fooking race and my thoughts on the drivers lately. im afraid F1 might become boring soon with vettel looking to be in the form of his life and the work ethic he and his team have i dont think they can be beaten anytime soon.

i honestly thought india would have some really good racing but it hasnt inmpressed me at all, its a stunning track visually but it hasnt gave us any action at all just the odd blown engine and massa snapping his suspension again.

overall i was so bored watching this race. i hope F1 improves and gets more exciting next year as the later half of the season has been dull i must admit
