VAG Commander Devon

for a b5 car, one of the clone ebay versions will probably do what you want - its worth a punt for a few quid

I got a copy of VAG Tacho 3.03 or what ever it is and it could not read the code from the new clocks.
VCDS works with the new clocks and Vag tacho works with the old clocks.
Just not the new one.

My original Pre-facelift clocks has just died and need sending away for repair so i'm hoping to get the facelift clocks fitted and working before they get sent away, so this has been stepped up a bit in importance.

Is anyone in the Devon, Cornwall or Somerset area that think they will be able to program my facelift clocks for my pre-facelift car?
Mainly programming a new key to the new cluster, I think the rest should work fine.

Vag tacho is a different product to Vag commander. Not much experience of it but it doesn't seem to work With many cars and commander would be better to get six and immo codes

Vag Tacho seems a bit hit and miss with the newer ones.
Having to keep trying till it lets you in.
I don't have Vag commander and with my pre-facelift clocks broken, I'm a little under pressure to get this done.
Found a local guy whos willing to try and pull the SKC codes from my clocks for me. so hopefully he will be successful and I get it programmed then.

sounds better to let someone who already has the tools have a go than waste money and time on tools that may still not work
