pretty reasonable price how good are these? my concern would be how quiet are these for petrol cars?

They sound good fitted to an S4.

However turbos do a lot of silencing, and another member on here fitted one to his 2.8 and found it very loud.

I fitted that system to my 2.8 and it was horrendously loud!! Stayed on for a week! Sold it to a guy with an S4 and he loves it. It is so much quieter!!

Seeing as your car is diesel, and TDi, it wont be loud!

Can TDIs have straight cut exhausts?

I thought they had to be pointing down to stop the soot from coating the back of the car?

i've seen plenty of TDI's with straight back exhausts, i'm sure i've seen the new A4's with them (may be wrong tho)

I'm not 100% sure.
I did see a A3 TDI with straight cut exhaust and his back end was black with soot.

I'd imagine your right though, chuck ****e out the exhaust and its going to end up all over the back of the car.

I thought that, so I over took him and the rest of the car was clean.
