headlight removeal and bulbs

just a quickie to comfirm a couple of things, to remove the headlights theres 1 bolt at the bottom you slacken of and remove the 2 top ones, and dipped headlight bulb is a H7?

the car is a 54 plate avant

Two bolts at the bottom mate, slacken them off and undo the top two altogether. I put a couple of strips of masking tape on the bumper to stop the light scratching it as you have to slide it out over it.

H7 bulbs yes :icon_thumright:

I'm thinking of these but not sure if they are any good
I guessing they are just a straight swap over

Halfords website doesnt list them, so will have a walk in tomorrow

Got Bosch Pure Light from Halfords today to replace the dipped beam..

Fitting tomorrow if all goes well

Here are some stats i found

The readings are dipped beam intensity (Lux) and main beam intensity (Lux) for the different types of light sources.

Factory OE H7 Halogen.....................91.........................48

Might get the standard halford ones for the main beam though..

Fitted Pure light replacements to the number plate, but they seem a little yellow. So maybe need to find a replacement
I got the Bosch Pure Light side light replacements too. Hope these look white
