Decided to treat myself to some new alloys and was looking at the RS4 alloys. Now my question is, i've seen some RS4 alloys which come with tyres fitted 225 / 40 / 18. I drive an Audi A3 2.0T Fsi Quattro and the current tyres are 225 / 35 / 17 - will the new tyres fit ok and not rub etc?

Hi there first check the off set in side the alloy standard off set is et54 ,lower the off set the wider the alloy ,18 inch tyres are fine as 225/40/18 ..

As above. My a3 came with 225/40/18 as standard just make sure its the right ET.

Thanks for the help so far :) The offset is 47, will this be ok?

Should your current tyres not be 225/45/17??
You should be looking for an ET between 42-50ish

Oops, just re-looked at my wheels and noticed they were 225/45/17 :L thanks for that.

Might have to go ahead and treat myself to some new alloys then :D
