Gti festival ( comon lads)

Trying to drum up some interest for Santa pod this weekend it's gti festival
Tkts are £15 on the gate and £25 for an all day sprint tkt
It sounds like it's going to be a good day! I've managed to get some interest from the 8L lads and would love to see more Audis down there, it's one of the last meets of the year I'm guessing and wot a great way to spend a Sunday hey

i would have but im having my callipers and inner discs painted over the weekend,i always try and make drag events,always happy to abuse the clutch hahaha

most of the time i get my self to events like this and run too,i used to go to most of the jap events and run there in the skylines,also i used to go to york raceway a lot but since the accident there im not too sure when itll be open again (if at all),already run the audi but done some small modifications since so want to see if its made any differences so next year i will deffo be at run what you brung events and main events too

Right guys been chatting to don and he tells me that as long as we all get there early then we can park inside and there's a lot of room to be able to park up together.
I'm aiming on getting there for about 8 830 ish so if you want to meet up & get all the audis together then feel free to call me when you get there. It would be nice to see you all and you cars and it's always better when were all in one area hey!
It would be cool to try and make a litlle impact on a predominantly VW show

I'll there in my Polo, little grey thing with ATS classics on however will be running drag slicks on the front so will have silver steelies on the front.

You'll probably see me snapping my driveshafts or something!

Had a great day, it was nice to meet some good ppl and see some ace cars
Got loadsa pics n vids to upload
It seemed really hard to put the power down I think everybody was struggling ! It was the complete opposite to how every1 said ???
Managed a 13.3 tho
When I'd left Don he'd managed a 12.6 and we left him to it ( admire his dedication)
Was nice to meet you Adam
 
13.3 is a good time but whats the trap speed as the speed is more relevant ,the time just shows how well the car can get off the line
 
I managed a 13.8 in the Polo, had to go home after 6 runs as my hall sender in my dizzy started to play up, meant i wasn't able to pick up my prize for fastest in class! ****!

yeh the speed you pass at,that time is very good,shows you got good traction off the line,bet the 60 ft was decent,what power are you running as that trap speed would indicate about 260-280 bhp
 
wow,with that power i would have said you should have been passing at about 105-110 mph,but saying that on certain days ambient temps and wind etc etc can make big differences

It was crap mate just too slippy off the line we were all struggling

Really sorry we couldn't make it. Heard it was a really good day and spoke to a few people tonight and mentioned some fast runs in a3's and they seemed to all have seen the silver a3 :)
 
I was there chaps. Some of your cars were fantastic! Had I known you were going I would have met you all there :(. I'm still very new to the club...

Who's it A3 TTU? Thats a weapon! lol...
