Im in the middle of deciding what to do with the brakes on my S3.
the rears have alot of life left in them yet but as part of a winter overhal i need to improve them.
What is the brake bias on these cars?
ive NEVER had the car lock up, fronts or rears. The brembos up front will stop the car once or twice from speed. after that... no joy until ive let it all cool down for a hour or so.
Do i fit 300 rears? or do the rears basicaly hold the car on a hill when you pull the handbrake up?

The 308's rears on my car seems to be doing something, I can see a line of brake dust on my rear wheels after a session at CastleCombe Paul, and your car won't lock up as it has ABS all round! I would get your Brembo's checked out if they are fading after 2 high speed stops?! I bedded my Ferodo DS2500s by accelerating upto 90 and braking down to 40 firmly like 15 times in a row in 3rd gear until smoke was coming out of them, then drove around with no braking for 15 minutes to cool them down, no brake fade whatsoever! They worked great on the track aswell!! :racer:

I have some brembos here ready to go onto my car, are the ds2500s worth the money?

S3paul do you still have your original brakes? I read somewhere on here you can put them on the back.

DS2500 and motul rbf600 and I never had any problems

The rears don't do much which is why i didn't waste money on upgrading the rears to match the front. I've got Brembo discs and Brembo pads on the rear from ECP.
