A3/S3 videos

oh well, didnt see it in that secetion! still funny though!
 
i think he only had a map and the tip fitted, it is loud! very loud, should it sound like that?
i mean it sounds awesome, just never heard it before on these cars

how do you make it make that chatter noise? i was under the impression if you remove your dump valve and block it off it is the sound of the gasses going back through the turbo the wrong way?

Yes either his DV is faulty, he has a VAC leak, or the DV is blocked off, either way its not a good thing.

The S3 sounds very strange.
What exhaust / intake are on it?
The DV is noticably louder than mine too which has a Jetex cone filter and a forge 007p DV

Cheers westy. I knew he was filming so I did throw it about a bit more than normal. Suspension wise it has:
Sat coilovers with 450 front 500 rear springs
Neuspeed front and rear arb's. (28mm rear)
Haldex controller
Defcon front bushes ( funnily it has the early tt wishbones standard)
Poly rear arb bushes

It is great fun on a trackday but very firm on the road. With this set up it also will slide a bit from the rear. Got a great photo of it at Blyton will try to upload it.

Superb Mike.

I went to Bedford Autodrome last saturday and I now realise how important ARBs are! I've done all bushes but went for a set height shocks and spring option (mainly for the road) but I still use standard ARBs which are killing me in bends.

I plan on doing a few more UK tracks next year and Cadwell Park looks like a sweet little track.

Ive lost count of the amount of times ive watched the various video's of this on youtube... sounds rubbish dont it!!!!! hahahaha NOT..

i love the fact that all that power and speed and when he's launching it he has no seat belt on!! lol

Its a Greddy Profec boost controller by the looks... thats the button to give you an extra burst of boost... that engine is on standalone management too... notice MAF less induction and no 'coilpacks'

Certainly a beast but not something that I would consider a daily driver lol.... poor old haldex must be getting a right hammering

there was a video on youtube showing a black s3 (with black rims) spinning the 4 wheel a bit when launching...wanted to share but hell its been an hour im trying to find it! if anyone knows it please share
