If anybody is selling pleaseeeeeeeee get in touch with me :)
Desperate measures lol.

Need one that is not Glass fibre.

Thanks in advance!

I doubt you will find a used one for sale on here fella lol. Most people want to fit them.
Try Stoke Audi or NHN the S3/S-line spoilers are about £230 roughly from the other main dealers.
Only get oem spoilers like S3/S-line or Votex the copies on ebay are terrible and dont look good fitted.

I think the S Line and S3 roof spoiler are the same mate but somebody will be along to correct me if im wrong

lol thanks guys!

see the thing is, take a look at this.

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

The only thing stopping me buying it is that my guy who does work on my car said that if it is GFK (glass fibre), when painted black to fit on my lava grey 3.2 v6 it will not come out right andd will not be smooth because of it being glass fibre.
What do u think?

Just a plug for my genuine Votex roof spoiler that was never fitted and is for sale: over here :icon_thumright:

Bit out my price range :\ but thank you for the offer .

AshB, why are the ebay ones terrible? and how do you know they wont fit? (out of curiousity lol)

Steer clear of anything but oem, trust me been there got tshirt, oem is only one guaranteed to bond with primer & paint fully, save your pennies or you may be sorry.

What you say is true! i will definately take this into mind! :)
Thanks guys! much appreciated!

If you have a Sportback I can supply a brand new genuine Votex spoiler for around £75 delivered. It gets shipped directly from an Audi main dealer in the US. Over here the dealer charges £200+. As they only have Sportbacks in the US I can't unfortunately supply if you have a 3 door. Also, you might be interested in a Votex front spoiler which I can supply for the same price (dealers here charge around £300), again it would be brand new and a genuine Audi part.

Problem with votex is they have the squarer edges, which most want the rounded lines of the sline/s3 to match the rest of the area fitted to, as for the votex front, its ****** awful looking imho.

£75 delivered from the US sounds way to cheap for something that size given it would be subject to customs, without being mr skeptical & ******* on your firework mate, but seems extremely cheap considering its imported & the dealer prices.

Yeah that does seem fishy... and even then you say it cannot be supplied for 3 door 8p1's which means it will be useless for me as i have the 3 door! :(

I think the S line will be fine for me! dont Votex as such as it looks TOO MUCH like an aftermarket spoiler :\

Funnily, the Votex Sportback spoiler is more rounded than the 3 door version and appears more or less the same as the Sline spoilers. See pics here.. Home Page > Search > Votex > ES#4933 Audi A3 Roof Edge Spoiler - 8P90716409AX . There also nothing wrong with the Votex front spoiler (http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/images/front_page/B7A4-AtYa-600x450.jpg), they only look bad when not fitted correctly and wouldn't say the Sline bumper looks that much better unless you was talking about the ones on MY09 cars and onwards.

Yes, the box was huge, but believe it or not I got both delivered from the US by Fedex (arrived within a few days) and it all cost me £137. That included custom charges and the cost of the spoilers. The front spoiler was only £20 and the rear spoiler £40. Both were supplied by Steve White Audi (About Steve White Audi | New Audi and Used Car Dealer | Greenville) and came in original Audi retail boxes with the same part number as found from dealers here in the UK.

If you know the right places to look, you'd be amazed at what kind of bargains you can find!

yeah sounds like you got a bargain and a half mate! :)
But like you said, it wouldnt really fit on the 3 door 2003 (8p1) model would it? (back roof spoiler only)
and even if it did, was the material: GFK (glass fibre)?

No it won't fit a 3dr I'm afraid. Votex is owned by VW Group who only use highgrade materials and not cheap/weak materials like fibre glass.

Someone has just posted a photo of their spoiler on a 3dr, I believe this is a Votex spoiler and you can see it's very square compared to the Sportback spoiler....

Hold on, so if that guy has a votex spoiler on a 3 door, then why wont the one you told me about fit on my 3 door :sadlike:

That's because the boot design is slightly different for Sportback & 3dr cars, so the spoilers are shaped to fit one or the other.

oh right ok. so that guys car in the picture is a sportback? (sorry im very new to this!) :)

Have a look in my thread I have a 3door votex spoiler cost me £130.
As said it's more square than the s3/s-line ones. But alot better quality and look than the eBay ones.

No, that's a 3dr, made obvious from the photo he's posted? ;) A 5dr A3 is what is known as a Sportback.

LOL... so just to end the confusion... can i or can i not buy the spoiler from the US and get it put on my 3 door 3.2 V6 (like the guy has done in the picture)

ASHB, im really new to audi-sport.... when u say look at ur thread, what do i do? click on your profile? sorryyyyyyy :\
