All,

Had to use my S3 to carry a 6ft tree the other day.

Sadly you might think, it got me wondering what other weird and wonderful cargo others had carried?!

fish tank with all the ornaments and everything still in place. had to drive like i had a loaded bomb in the car as i didnt wanna break teh glass

22 dozen bread cakes.
When the snow ment my dad couldnt use his van to do deliverys.

A Mk2 Fiesta Boot hatch...

Sourced it for my XR2 restoration and had to take it to the bodyshop.

not in the audi but in my old 306 we have a sofa which we bought from ikea. it came in 4 pieces 3 of the pieces fitted at weird angles over the boot and back seat the other piece when diagonally across the whole car in the back of missus head. thinkin about it now it was really dangerous as the seat was as close as it would go forwards and the tilt was forward a fair bit aswell

In a merc a class short wheel base. a FULL mk3 golf leather interia,
We bought it from down south and expected just the seats...
However, everything you see if you got in a mk3 golf was there ! some how it all went in along with me and a passenger!

Back seats down,6 drunken mates lost in the countryside, I was the sober *** with the headache, dropped them off asap at the the nearest bus stop.

Not so much weird or woundful but after moving into my house several years back I removed a lot of stones/plants/shed/rubble from the garden and took it all to the tidy tip in the S3, one of the guys there couldnt believe I was using my S3 for such a task, but as i said nothing a hoover cant sort out. I do like my S3 and try to keep it tidy but at the end of the day I still use it for its main intended use: moving things from a to b.

You will because you've made your S3 what the S3 should have been to start with, actually quicker than an A3!

:racer:

I can't wait to see your car, the spec is immense!

A variety of replica and deactivated guns and props...........used to do armoury work.

A few days after the July bombings in London I was driving in my old car to a set through most of London with a deactivated sniper rifle and scope, about 20 replica mp5's and an assortment of police gear and shields- bit nervy driving around with it at that time!

200 bricks is a total lie.

I just about managed to get 30 and a couple of bags of cement in which led to this -

**** me, thats lower than a grannys nipples.

Could you even drive that?

No it's not a lie, certainly around the 150-200 mark but nothing else like cement! Filled the boot completely from floor to parcel shelf edge to edge pretty much. They were the kind with three holes through each of them so i'm pretty sure they are lighter than normal ones. It was LOW though.
