Well some of you know my car has been running a bit funny recently and i haven't been happy with it. I got a Forge FMIC at a bargain price with everything inc. crash bar, pipes etc. last week. This past week 1 of my coilpacks was giving way so i know i needed a new one soon. Anyway, on Saturday 3 of us cracked on and fitted the intercooler. I also got my 3" cold air feed pipe from the filter running next to the fog light. When we started the car the coilpack completely died grrrr! I bought my new coilpacks yesterday and the car is running sweet!

I thought i would show you my progress as i'm over the moon about it. Please bear in mind, when i bought the car the only mod it had was a Superchips stage 1 map. I've done quite alot to it and i haven't had another map or got it tweaked to adjust to all my mods hence why my torque figure is low! Next plans are a 3" downpipe i've got sitting here and a Revo stage 2 map to be added beginning of next year. Fingers crossed stage 2 should work out very well!! My MAF is now reading at 216 g/s. My Liquid Gauge said ...........................

Cheers guys, yeah i'm really happy about it, couldn't stop smiling about it last night on the way home! I bought all 4 coil packs, don't mention the Audi recall, i've got a huge complaint going to Audi UK soon about that (i'll explain this another time!)

Looking forward to another map now! :)
 
My S3 made 211gs with my new MAF fitted, all I have is a prehistoric AmD stage1 map and Badger5 V1 3" intake with Jetex filter, easily the second best mod after a remap! Surprising the engine is more responsove low down, it just works!

Thanks Dude. I have no idea how that works! I've got an Air/Fuel ratio gauge on my liquid gauge but i don't understand how it works. It has a line in the middle and it moves very very slightly left and right on idle. Do you know how it works?
 
Result my s3 hit those figures on a stage 1 on the rollers :)
I've got a liquid and I'm not convinced of there accuracy I think it's just a good looking toy, I could be wrong though!!!

Mine had a Superchips remap, 2 things were changed, throttle response and boost, fuelling wasn't touched so mine was constantly running on the lean side. Is peak boost quite high??

On boost the needle should move to where the red dots are, if they are not then go to Bill and get Revo Stage 2 :)

I took the centre grille out to show off the intercooler. I finally have something else shiny on the front to match the mirrors! You can kinda see the air feed pipe next to the left side fog light behind the grille. Sorry for the crappy mobile pic!

Nice one mate, glad you got the car running right now, some very impressive figures there.

Car looks MEAN!!!! in that pic too.

I know that feeling well! I bought a load of new parts for mine and it runs awesome now and hit 218gs when I tried. Over the moon with it now it's had its paintwork too.

PS - Nice cooler. I want to get one for mine before the summer hits. It'll be killer for IATs here.

You changed the fog lense jay or wrapped the lenses?

The fogs have been wrapped in yellow Lamin-X and i've changed the bulbs to xenon yellow aswell.
 
I like the look you got going on there Troopa but if I were you I'd paint the cooler black, what rims have you got they look sweet.
 
Cheers Maz, a couple of people have said to spray it black but i like the shinyness of the cooler and mirrors together now.

I've got OZ Superleggera's resprayed in a bronze colour. They're 8x18's ET35, H&R Trak+ hubcentric 30mm spacers on rear and 20mm on front.
 
All good, I miss my shiny mirrors.

Good choice, always liked the Superleggy's and did try to source a set before I got the RC's but they were impossible to find.

I gave this a go Sandip and the needle was on the red dots on full boot. It didn't touch that other red dot you put towards the bottom where 0.5 is though? I gave it full throttle in 2nd gear.
 
The lonely red dot on it's own at 0.5 is a mistake lol

Aslong has it goes to the 4 reds dots you're all good! :)
