hi there i am thinking of getting a 2.0t or 1.8t sline and want 2 make it look like an s3 just wondered if anyone could post sum pics of them as i am unsure which colour to go 4 quite like dolphin grey but just wondered what they looked like in other colours.

It's all about the red these days. None will look like an S3 though without some work.

This is my real one - in the obligatory Brilliant Red of course. :)

For comparison, my Garnet Red 2.0T quattro S-Line looked like this:

There are some good lookalikes around, but they require a bit of dedication and you may find the real thing costs a similar amount of money (especially for the 3-door versions).

dont forget ben your s3 is a 8p3 , your sline was an 8p2 so gigs 8p3 or 2 ?

just put s3 badge on it thats what everbody does righr fellas and felerattes lmao

Don't know about that. £500 for a couple of rails makes my balls ache pretty bad even before the tools are out the garage.

In saying that. £1000 for a couple of plastic strips to stick on the side of my car makes my balls ache even worse. Even though they do look **** hot.

i thought they where like £100 tops

You can find Votex skirts for under £100 on feeBay (unpainted), but S3 Sportback skirts really do cost that much when painted / fitted.

I looked into adding a 8P2 S3 front end, skirts, diffuser, brake callipers and other upgrades to my old 2.0T quatto. It will always be "worth it" in the sense that you built something of your own, but replicating S and RS cars is not cheap!

Yeah......if your old! I'd rather an A4 estate(and I'm not kidding btw)

Its just one of these situations where, for me, if they make a 3dr then that's the only option. Yes my LCR was 5dr but they didn't make a 3dr one so I wasn't bothered. Yes my classic scooby was 4dr but P1s at the time were twice the price haha
