Took my old barge up to Evolve in Luton for a club rolling road day. Pretty happy with the result considering the 148,000 miles now on her and a fueling issue giving me a very rich spot (off the scale for 750rpm). 188bhp and what seems to be 220lb.ft of torque reading the graph.

Happy days :)

Its all about the torque....good numbers

Ahh well you cant complain at that pal, real good figures!

Good figures. Hopefully i wont be far off that once im finally mapped now i`ve found someone else close to me to sort it :)

I take it the N75 mod was the screw adjustment? Did you actually notice difference when you did it?

Great figures. I presume yours would be a 150-bhp as standard model?

Can anyone explain the strange shape of the torque curve? It seems to dive bomb from about 3500rpm (bit early in the range for a decline in torque I'dve thought) then it plateaus out (strangely) then dive bombs again from about 5250rpm. Is this normal for a 1.8T? I would expect the torque to drop off more progressively than that? Is it purely due to the piddly K03?

What boost is the car running Oranoco? Just out of interest, presuming you have a boost gauge of course!

The map is a Superchips and I shall have to look at the old graphs to see what they show for the fueling. I think it may be to do with the de-cat and intercooler additions. It has been suggested that the lamda may be starting to fail.

Boost peaks at about 13psi and drops back to 10-11psi which is held through to the limiter.

If things go well and I get the Quattro (still trying to sort a happy deal) I was planning to swipe the ECU and harness as I can then run a bit more boost (Quattro runs 12psi standard)

I'm toying with the idea of getting my TQS chipped just for a bit of extra poke (torque mainly) while I get all the bits together for my GT28 conversion.

If I do, I'm hoping to get it dynoed after, so will be interesting to see what it produces.

You will only get to about 190 or 195 bhp max on dn ajl as they are already pushing the tiny turbo on the 12 psi, so probably best saving the £300 unless u can get it done cheap

So I believe, but it's the extra 40-50lbsft that I'm more interested in. Know what you mean though, that money would buy my front mount!

Can't find the screw. Is it down that little hole?

[edit] It must be. I think it's rusted up as it won't move.

What's the standard torque on these then as would be interesting to see what I've gained
