John, Warren's flange also has a similar mark on it, *snigger*. It must be perfectly normal to have this, but can't remember seeing it on mine when I installed my Forge DV. HTH x

Lol, now you're getting very technical! The first pic shows the black mark exactly alongside where the hose goes, John, just like on yours. I really don't think there's anything wrong with it, but hopefully someone with a bit more technical knowledge will be able to confirm this to put your mind at rest. xx

I think your right its the norm lol its just my old one was bigger,lol and i put the revised d in which had the old piston type in,anyway it would not rev over 4000 rpm,,,

cant wait to see the retrim can you get the bolsters to look new agian? seen loads of leather care vids on you tube. i have got some gliptone 2 stage i am gonna try it on monday when i pic the car up.

Yeah will get the retrim for sure , alloys next,then vw racing brakes ,,rnse and window tints with Supaglass ...Yes please get some pictures up...
