Go on hit me, what was the tax on that?

APR is nice, we do a stronger clutch kit over that item but still using Sachs

Looks v.nice mate, i saw the pics on JBS FB page, cant wait to see this in real life and here the sound it make :hubbahubba:we need another logging session so we can see it.....

Thanks Si, the car hopefully should be ready this weekend. Not sure when I can get some dyno plots done as I'm quite busy with work at the moment. May have to take a day off! :) I'll get some pics up of the kit fitted though.

The radiator can also be ordered in black (not as efficient as silver).

Dyno plot

The dyno operator noted that the plot seems to have shifted to the left slightly (red line 8000rpm), despite the fact that the tacho pick up lead had recently been replaced.

Figures were measured at the wheels. I for one don't buy into this 'guesstimated' crank/clutch horsepower nonsense that helps manufacturers/tuners post 'big' numbers for marketing reasons. If you're into crank figures do your research, but it seems to me that % loss for quattro systems are often quoted as being 23-25%. Either way, I couldn't care less....until there is a proven, accurate cost effective way of measuring crank hp. Besides, the best comparable data is generally US based, all quoted as wheel horse power.

I wanted to measure for worse case scenario and not cold runs (well as far as I can go with 3 dyno runs). Luckily, the weather was warm, with the in dash temp display showing 27.5 to 29 degrees C. I ran the car hard for about an hour. It was then parked in the sun for about 15 minutes before being dynoed. Ambient temperature at the dyno was 30.91 degrees C. Three runs were conducted and all were similar.............and there you have it, 453.8bhp with 409.19ft-lb at the wheels.

Wow that looks fantastic, I love the APR kit for completeness and good quality craftsmanship. I can't wait to see/hear your car as i'm too contemplating charging an RS4 in the near future.
Great torque curve by the way, this is going to be a monster when the ambient temp get low in the winter

The above numbers were 2 up with full tank of fuel with 1 foot roll out NOT activated.

This makes me go green with envy... The RS4 isn't enough for some people lol.

Luckily BHP figures are long gone, it's all about top MPG :p

Looks awesome though! Bet it's amazing to drive now!

Ok, sorry for the lack of updates, been absolutely hammered at work!

I've been running the latest ecu software written especially by James at JBS / Custom Code for the last week and a half.
It's quite an improvement over the original APR software with a very noticeable increase in torque especially in the mid range.
Deceleration while staying in gear after hard acceleration has greatly improved too and is alot less violent than before.
There is now a more distinct difference in throttle response/aggression in 'S' mode too.

I got a couple of friends (who had driven the car previously) to drive the car without telling them it had new software installed.
The 1st one 'gave it some beans' immediately and noted straight away how much harder it pulled through the gears.
The 2nd one took me for a long drive around some fast twisty A/B roads and finally onto some motorway. He commented on how more responsive
it felt and how much harder it pulled, then summed it up with "f**king awesome!"
The first question they asked was "has the boost been turned up at all?" (they're both turbo drivers). Nope, boost still remains at
between 6 to 7psi on the standard pulley.

The following PerformanceBox times were achieved using this software on JBS's heavier avant.

All in all a great all round improvement to performance and driveability........I'm even happier than before!

I'm hoping to get some in gear acceleration times done when I get some free time.

As far as I know this software will be available to all APR dealers via APR's servers somepoint soon.

wow that is a beautiful RS4. And wow you must have one epic bank account to fund all of that lol. very nice tho :)

This car is epic! Nice build would love to see/hear it in person I bet the sound is amazing!

The car looks spot on mate really nice set up u have there and nice Figures

We need a video of startup and takeoff tbh...absolutely stunning nice job! love this car so damn much!

that APR supercharger is one awesome bit of kit :D wish I had enough in my bank account to buy and supercharge one of these beast, any more updates on this car? I know its been a while lol
