In the market for a silicone tip

Hi all, another crap newbie question here for all you devoted audi fans. I was planning to buy a few items off a guy on here but i suppose he gets alot of plums nocking at the door and before i could contact i was blocked
. (oh well no harm done). Anyway im in need of a TIP and im not fussed about 2nd hand as im litteraly broke as gadaffis flip flop. And id rather pay 2nd hand money for a decent make than just go get a egay jobby. So if you or somone you know is selling one then let me know. Just so im un the know, what is the best make? I have a a3 1.8t AUM. Many thanks to all for your patients.

I got lucky and got a brand new forge one on egay half price, if I hadn't I would have a bought a cheap ebay one though, from what I'm led to believe there is no extra benefit to having a nice shiny logo on a TIP......

i got one of the ebay ones made by creation motorsport and there awesome no differences in how there made or what there made from i compared it with my girlfriends forge tip on her LCR and there both good stuff

I got an autobahn one, functions well, but unless your getting the b5 tip i dont believe you will see a massive difference (i didnt notice any) so if your going for a standard size TIP i'm thinking the ebay ones are probably very similar to the forge ones so IMO i would go for whatever was the cheapest!

Thanks all, i just want a tip as iv heard it makes the induction sound better. Theres a guy selling one on ebay in birmingham for 50 quid so ill probly go for that if no one on here has one goin cheap. Thanks again for the replys.
